Both Start and Rosenborg are near the of the table with good beginnings to the season. It was expected of Rosenborg but not Start. Tomorrow the preseason favorites for the both top & bottom of the table square off in Kristiansand. Goodson & Freeman received high grades over the weekend for their play in the win over Viking and both are scheduled to start in this one.
I think it will be an interesting match. I like Start after having lived in Kristiandsand and Rosenborg have been my fav teams since childhood. Hopefully Rosenborg can get a win and Start can do well in the games later this season Edit: i`m a bit worried about the injure situation with Rosenborg is missing Jarstein, Dorsin, Stadsgaard, Jamtfall, Johnsen Now Jamtfall isn`t much of a loss but Stadsgaard and Dorsin would both be in the starting 11 if they were healthy and Jarstein/Johnsen is on paper the 2 best goalkeepers.
Ik Start will be missing two first teamers as well. Captain forward Ole Martin Arst & central midfielder Solomom James Owello are both injured and unavailable tonight. Solo has need especially good in the first three matches.
Start played well but Rosenborg defended well and had bit of luck with only 10 guys on the pitch. There 2 goals were both a bit lucky but i think they showed a good attitude trying to go froward been a man down in the second half.
Both Goodson & Freeman played well in this one. Goodson was unbeatable in the back and Freeman got forward and put a number of good crosses & was generally applying pressure from the flank all game. Goodson was pushed up top in the last 10 minutes and created havoc but no goals. Poor finishing, one unlucky deflection and a snoozing left back or Start would have pocketed 3 points. Lots of if's huh. Give 10 man Rosenborg credit, they never gave up and worked the full 90 to get the points. Start is thin and couple of injuries make a big difference for them so staying healthy will be inportant if they are to not only to survive but thrive in the Tipp. Good match by both sides.
