Ah! Finally some positive news, amid all the misguided speculation and BS surrounding Owen. How refreshing. Thank you 655321!

Harry coming back so soon is huge. I wish Owen had his physical-healing ability.

Perhaps 6 points out of 6 points this weekend is possible? Lets hope so.

Very good news indeed! I can't wait for Milan and Carra to return....(sorry, nothing personal Salif).
You know, the fact that we have a thread here that deals exclusively with injuries is quite telling, don't you think?

A shame that Kirky is out for 3 weeks and Gerrard is doubtful for the Yeovil game (thigh strain?).

Owen back in training soon tho

I'd give Owen the last 20 minutes to give him some ground time before the Chelsea match, and you never know, he might bang in a couple of goals to get his confidence back up. :)

yep, owen always seems a little rusty after coming back from injuries. hopefully, a decent 20-30 minutes against yeovil will ensure him a good full match against chelsea.

although i kinda think we shouldnt rush owen too much. lets get him perfectly healed first so that he will be good to go for the rest of the season.

baros should be back in reserves by the 20th, carragher by maybe the 13th. kewell should be good to go against chelsea, and gerrard's injury seems minor.

now lets hope kirklands finger heals quickly.

I think getting our first choice fullbacks fit will be a big boost. The Captain says Carra brings intangibles on the practice ground and in the changing room that the team needs. Plus he and Finnan add to the Western Isles component on the team.

They have the highlights up on the official site. The Le Tellec goal is outstanding. Carra looks great on a tackle and pass which leads to another great strike by Welsh. Both were rockets into the upper 90 off the dribble.

Baros coming back to fitness will be a big boost - finally we'll be able to play our 1st choice attack of the Czech and Owen, Heskey on the bench and Pongolle can learn his trade in the ressies.

^ of course my kiss of death knows no bounds! Doh.

Heskey went off with a hamstring injury tonight vs Newc - Baros won't be fit, Pongolle has a groin strain...

looks like it may be Owen + one of Kewell, Cheyrou or Le Tallec up front vs Everton...

Baros is set to appear for the reserves today against Bolton but there is a chance that a late pitch inspection may call off the game. Also if the pitch is dodgy enough Milan won't play even if the game goes on. Houllier says Baros is a game or two away from returning to the selection pool for first team games.

The game has been called off. Too bad, because Baros needs an opportunity to gain match practice.

    Today's Echo (Jan 30) reports:

Meanwhile, Florent Sinama Pongolle returned to training today but it's too late for him to be considered for tomorrow's game.
