Great news. My wife and I prayed for her last night. Sure, having a child out of wedlock is never a good idea, but is the solution killing the woman who by all accounts is a loving and caring mother?

if she's single, how exactly did she commit adultery anyway? it makes me sick how women are treated around the world

    Homewrecker then?

Maybe this was lost in the translation?

I mean, couldn't the media have the story wrong?

Just like when Bush said, "Bring em' on!", many international news outlets had a hard time finding the right words to capture the essence of the statement.

    dictionary.com

    Adulteress:
"A woman who violates her religious engagements"

So, it could mean more than marriage. This was in a religious court.

This is right up there with the "honor killings" by family members of women suspected of infidelity or having sex before marriage.

The father of the baby has already been tried, and found innocent of adultery. She is divorced. By some quirky law, a child born up to 4-5 years after a divorce are still considered the child of the ex-husband. That is the very thin string that is saving this poor woman's life at this point.
