    The Hammerheads have formally released forward Chukwudi Chijindu from the USL PRO league for the remainder of the 2012 regular season.
    Chijindu is traveling to Iceland on behalf of an opportunity for a long-term deal signing for Icelandic side Þór Akureyri (Thor AK) until the end of the 2012 season.

    Hate to see him go! Solid player!

    Shame he won't be at Legion this year but it does sound like he has a great opportunity lined up. I wish him well.

    Plus who wouldn't want to play for a team called Thor anything! I mean really!
