Newcastle's new boss cut loose the Gooch. His loan is over. Will his club loan him to Dallas?

you are the king of baseless rumor-mongering.

    but whatever, keep it up!

    I'll take Gooch, definitely.

Agreed....maybe I should make a sticky thread for baseless, unreported, speculative roster moves.

His Belgian club is still hoping for a payday on his transfer. I'm thinking they want to either sell him outright or keep him to themselves at this point. While I feel his Newcastle spell further exposed some of his weaknesses, he was still a solid defender. I can't see FCD using a DP to bring him back, and that's probably what it would take. But, man, that would be a nice way to bolster that back line.

No way it will happen. Most belgium clubs are either feeder clubs or hope for a big pay day.

here's a real one: West Ham released Teddy Sheringham & New York Red Bulls want him. How many DPs does NY have?

How many DP's does it take to bring soccer fans to Jersey?

BTW, sorry for tripping out so much lately, I need more sleep.

They have two DP's and they've used them both (Reyna and Angel). Which means they must hope to pay Teddy less than $400k per year. I suppose that's possible. How many forwards do they need?

Isn't Gooch's contract up now? I thought thats why he took the loan, so he could use it as a launching pad to go out and get a new deal from where ever he wanted to go?

in order to add Gooch a team will need the #1 ranked allocation slot.

which I don't think is Dallas. They could trade into that spot of course.

Teddy does have a hot girlfriend that might be looking to make her way into the mainstream USofA.

I hope they do. I hope someone in the MLS takes that little bitch. Anyone but Dallas. I am an old man, and it takes a lot of energy to work up a cold, seething hatred.

Sign him. Give me a reason.

Damn, FCD is down sh*t allocation creek. Even the Kreis retirement can't help since RSL doesn't have anything in Top 25 queue!

It's only relevant for a returning USMNT player....otherwise we can use our allocation to reduce a current player's cap number or to acquire any other type of player.

Cvntly is a waste of space and a tool. he might fit in with DC better than NY.
