Well, atleast someone got it. I'm black myself and just laughed when I read that part of the article in the other thread. But really I'm not too PC and some people just need to lighten up a little bit.
It was a pretty funny joke if one knew the reference, and completely mystifying (and upsetting) if the reader didn't know the reference. Not really a "Lighten up, Francis" moment - I'm glad it was explained, because I wouldn't have known what to make of you otherwise.
I read it as a joke and I had no knowledge of the journalist's patently ignorant question. Even if he (Stars&Bars) was serious it would've still been funny due to its pure ignorance. It was funny any way you look at it...

I'm not starting a new thread but Gooch went 90 earlier today as Standard beat GBA in the Round of 16 in the Belgian Cup. No real details other than Standard's line-up from the club website.
