I was just watching the chat with the CEO and they mentioned that they might start offering Gol TV ala carte. So any other dish customers who are interested in Gol tv but don't want to get the Spanish package please e-mail them.THanks
Killing two birds with one stone I just sent Dish the following email: As a huge soccer fan I'm interested in getting GolTV ala carte. Currently it's only offered with the Spannish language package. Also, will Dish be offering the MLS Season pass again this year? Last year the MLS season pass carried Saturday matches only. In prior years you carried all the matches(regardless of the day of the week). The main reason why I chose Dish network over Direct TV was primarily for the soccer programming. Last year Direct TV started carrying all the MLS games in their season package for the first time. I hope I don't have to switch to Direct TV since I'm generally happy with Dish. Based on your response I hope to inform my fellow soccer fans who are interested in becoming Dish subscribers on the excellent soccer related programming. Thanks.
I got back the following canned response from Dish: "Thank you for your e-mail. Specific information regarding your request is not currently available. It is our intent to add a variety of programming and services to please the majority of current and future subscribers. We will gladly forward your request to our Programming Department. We thank you for your input as we continually review our options in order to provide a compelling lineup for our viewers. Please stay tuned for consumer Charlie Chats that are broadcast monthly on Channel 101 or logon to our website for future programming announcements."
I emailed them as well and got back a canned response that listed all of their a-la-carte offerings. Oh well, keep trying I suppose. I'm about ready to break down and get the basic Spanish language package. . . (which has Fox SpW Esp.)
