the price when you first go there shows the cheapest room in the hotel, but when you go book they show you the cheapest room that is available for booking

I think the headline prices quoted are the cheapest rate for one room on one particular night. Needless to say those rooms don’t ever appear to be available

 

And it's the usual level of organisation. Tickets go on sale 18th Aug and the match is 9th Sep. "After purchasing tickets, fans will be required to apply for a digital Hayya Card by entering their ticket number via the designated Hayya website. Every ticketholder will need to show their Hayya Card in order to enter the stadium. More details about tickets and the Hayya Card process will be shared soon."
So they haven't worked that out yet? What a shock.

The silly thing is that’s it’s the logical approach to play the Qatar game when it’s been moved to. Farcical it wasn’t thought of till now.

Strange that they are going to keep it in Al Bayt, considering that Lusail is available..., they could sell 20k more tickets.

Well I get in about 5:40 pm local time, so I might just be able to get checked in and down to the fan fest in time for the second half.....

Hopefully they haven't actually sold many tickets to this match yet, as it will create a nightmare for those who have bought tickets.

There might be a lot of LMS tickets released for this match.

 

That's what pisses me off, they had 12 freaking years to do the logical thing and have the host play the first match, and just now they decide to change it when thousands have already planned their travel itinerary? It's incredible what bad management FIFA can have.

 

I am assuming they want the media coverage to be on both stadiums (Albayt and Lusail) and that’s why the are sticking to keeping it there and leaving Lusail for the final.

 

Of course it's horrible planning, that's the only kind the crooks can manage. They had to move the tournament to November, and in negotiations with other stakeholders the WC was reduced to 28 days. Starting on a Monday, which is odd. But now it is apparent that the Qatar plan was to start on the Sunday instead. They just had to wait until after the draw so that there was only one nation to pay off (turns out to be Ecuador), divide and conquer, job done.

Can anyone please tell me what is the current timings for major ticket drops based on recent trends in last few days? (UTC Time zone)

Badly need any argentina match, spain-germany, inaugural and final tickets.

 

Drops are around 23:30-00:00, 07:30-08:30 and 15:30-16:00 UTC

Good luck getting tickets for any argentina match or the final, i think so far only one final drop has happened, and any argentina match is also extremely rare though I have seen ARG-KSA pop up a few times. You will have quite good chances with ESP-GER and inaugural though, especially now that inaugural has been moved, there will surely be loads of resales.

 

So, the inaugural ceremony will be on 20th Nov before the Qat-Ecu match.. right
