That is correct, I also made a reservation there for a couple of days and I got the same email with all the other email addresses visible. At least no one has yet replied to all.
I am struggling to read, digest and comprehend that, really, haha It is so easy nowadays to forget how football used to be the working class sport even at the biggest stage.
I am about to leave the office (home office) so watch out for the drop. I know the guy in charge reads the forum and hates me
Exactly - imagine being able to buy a ticket for the World Cup Final on the day for only a fiver nowadays.
I definitely agree with all the points you have all shared with regards to this WC being unique. As a long time assistant, for these reasons, this WC (sadly) will not have that WC feeling. That's why I'm escaping the country for some days in my two weeks stay. Couldn't agree more. For me it was always about following your team, and very seldom watching other matches.
Entering Doha on 22nd and stay until my country Japan eliminated. Have 7 tickets all GS matches includes only 1 combo 1300 JPNxCRC and 2200 ESPxGER. I am attending every WC since 98 and as some guys saying, feeling and enjoying pre-match and post-match atmospheres are important part for me. No game between 28th and 30th so far and not going to hustle to get more GS tickets. I want to watch some games at shisha bar. Definitely cheaper than Cat3. I used to travel around Arabian peninsula, Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco. Then watching football in a local shisha bar was really fun.
its also largely bullshit. the cheapest seats in Mexico 86 were $3 and I doubt that the final was merely $2 more than the cheapest seat of the tournament.
I just found a bug in the ticketing app. Yesterday I put up 3 tickets to resale using the website (you can still do this even if your tickets are already in the app), two of them were sold together and the third one just by itself On my ticketing app, it still appears that one ticket hasn't being sold, even though the website and emails clearly show all of them were. If I try to pull this ticket out of the resale platform I get an error message stating that the ticket is no longer available
This is probably the only shot to ever say you attended every match at a World Cup. Would take a lot of work, but would be a pretty cool thing to try. Could probably make some money documenting the journey.
Can you please advise if this will work? I have two tickets for a game. Can I get a guest ticket (better seat) for the same game and transfer my two tickets as guest tickets to others?
I think so just transfer the main applicant to the new ticket if it is arg mex you will have plenty of people queuing up
Couldn’t have said it better myself. I am also going to do 2 matches a day for some of the group stages, because usually it simply isn’t possible. I’d also say that even though a match may not have appetizing opponents (eg Tunisia vs Australia) sometimes they produce stunning matches and fantastic finishes. You never know with live football.
You'd hope tea and shisha would be cheaper than Cat 3. Outside of the immigrant suburbs, I'm not so sure it will.
For those that are taking their laptop, where can they be stored when going to a game? Can I bring it into the stadium if I carry a backpack?
I remember it was possible to sign up for a bus from stadium to stadium up to 2 weeks before the game. Does anyone know if this is still an option and where do we sign up for it?
Anybody having a feel for when the next drop is coming? I feel like tickets are dropping in very low quantities
