Hi Monsieur! Do you think it is possible to do M58 (Education City Stadium) and M57 (Lusail Stadium) on the same day? M58 kicks off 4 hours ahead of M57, but there might be extra time and penalty shootouts since both are QF. Thank you!
You will get different opinions. Mine may well change after a few days of the tournament. I am planning this for the Rof16 on December 6th. Without extra time as of now it should be easy. I did final whistle to anthems in the Arab Cup in less than an hour via metro. Of course crowds will be higher this time. You would need to be very very lucky to see the final penalty in a PSO and see kick-off in Lusail. Of course a lot will depend on who is playing your priorities etc. I'm neutral as Republic of Ireland didn't qualify. My Welsh friends are skipping Ecuador v Senegal to focus on their game later. I'm still going but expect to see kick-off in Al Thumama which is much harder to reach. I might have a different view after a few days. Even with bigger gaps between games I'm still going to be trying things to see what works best.
Hi Monsieur, Question for a 22pm kick-off local time game @Al Bayt Stadium, Al Khor At what time would you leave the stadium by, to make a 2am departure time from Doha international airport ? IF its not realistic to go see the game and be at the airport on time, what would be your time recommendation on leaving hotel / bar? (Assuming hotel/bar is very close to airport)
I'll be ready. Can anyone recommend restaurants to book in advance to watch some matches? Has anyone reserved a Beach Day Pass? Intercontinental told me it's FCFS.
In upgrading tickets, I’ve ended up with two sets I can’t choose between. What does the brain trust think for MAR-CRO at Al Bayt, as a neutral: 137/G — Corner, sacrificing the view to be in the MAR supporter section for the atmosphere 127/Q — Roughly midfield, lower bowl, for the prime view but maybe more sterile atmosphere I’m leaning toward the corner to experience the fun with the Morocco supporters, but let me know if I’m being crazy. I’m also with kids (who can handle noise and action), but want them to be able to see as well.
I was able to edit my TST7 final to match my USA passport instead of the Latin-name of my other passport. Things are looking up!
Thank you to @MomaBcn @Dragonhorse @popularside @marianelah for sharing your experiences. I was hoping it would be like a hit/miss depending on who was scanning the tickets but it seems like that won't work. @Dragonhorse Yes I will be getting the headphones, definitely a must-have @popularside That's a good idea but it's tough getting tickets, maybe I'll get a cat 3 and then we'll all go but it's looking like we may need to alternate @marianelah Did you feel like it hindered your experience at all with the 9 month old in Germany 2006 and the 11 month old at SA 2010? Like would you go back and change it? In regards to those who said I should go without them. I get where you're coming from but my wife wants to go so I'm not going to say "sorry, you have to stay for our kid". Don't want to make my daughter or any future kids a point of contention.
@costasp @marianelah and anyone else that's been to other world cups. In your experience, do resale tickets show up like the day before a match? Looking for that elusive match 50, of course 64 and now a third ticket for my infant
Can multiple phones log into the Fifa account containing the tickets? I'm wondering what would happen if I lose my phone with the tickets in it. Would it be worth it to take a backup travel phone and would this phone be able to log to the app with the tickets in case I lose my primary? Thanks!
I’ve logged onto my FIFA ticket account on my samsung phone, my son’s iphone and an iPad (but not at the same time). All worked fine. It’s been mentioned on here if you lose your phone or runs out of battery whilst still logged on you can’t log into your account on another device, system won’t let you. Good idea to log out once you’ve finished with whatever you’re doing in your account to save hassles. Otherwise you’ll need to contact fifa ticketing to reset your account. I hope I’ve explained it correctly.
If I could go back in time; I wouldn't change a single thing. Maybe it's cultural; but soccer has bonded our family. My 20 year old shows off her pics at her 1st world cup. She took this semester off to go with us to Qatar. Each family creates unique traditions; ours often revolve around soccer. We bond; all 5 of us... and i'm 100% ok with that.
Love that. We have traveled the world with our kids (2nd time WC) and wouldn’t trade it for anything. And the random stuff they remember from random places at a young age is amazing.
I had the 2014 final in my cart on the morning of the game, but I was too bitter about the semifinal lol. Just got hammered on the beach in Rio and barely watched the game.
When you've won 5.... only one thing matters... Argentina can't win in Maracana. Because you'll never... even if you win 1000 world cups; ever, ever, ever... hear the end of it.
Both are overall great seats, personally I would go with 127/Q, should be a great view and absorb the whole stadium atmosphere.
