Going to Qatar 2022: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

To be honest I can't believe those Tunisia/Australia terrible cat 3 tickets sold already. I figured they wouldn't sell until day of game when someone is looking to just get in.

If those sold, that tells me people are just picking up whatever tickets are available to kill time in Qatar during the WC, which is why I bought them in the first place but now bought better seats. So those who think tickets aren't selling or there are a ton being held back, maybe that isn't the case. I think as many have said here, that tons more Hospitality were sold for this WC compared to past WCs because of all the GCC buying them up, so that left less than normal tickets available for us. Plus these stadiums overall are smaller than the past what 5 WCs or so

 

Someone reselling their TST Final is my best shot at getting the finals. Anyone with insight as to why TST sales are not allowed?

 

So I think a couple of things are happening here:
First this is a unique world cup that you can attend multiple matches, so many people, with not much else to do after seeing a few things in DOHA well would rather attend any match than I guess be at the mall etc. Once you cover the tourism then all you have to do is watch the matches.
The second is the last minute guys trying to get any ticket just for their hayya application

You've seen a diagram of exactly where the seats are - the buyer may not have much idea. (Plus what manolodf said. They might not care. Cat3 isn't expensive.)

 

Because the matches are not defined yet . When defined , it will be possible to resell it . But I agree with you that the final match ticket could be available to resell. But these are the rules to resell it.

 

There were finals and SFs sold as IMT too. The question is who would return them to fifa.

 

I managed to buy a CAT 3 Brazil vs Switzerland ticket on the resale platform. Couldn’t believe my luck!

 

I have both and I will also return one of them once I know who's playing. Mine are cat3s, it shouldn't take more than a half a day to sell them.

 

WC 2018 at some stadiums with private suites in cat 2 and cat 3 locations they sold individual hospitality tickets so 15-20 people shared one small private room with food buffet and their own section of stadium seats. That may be why these gallery seats cost more than the general cat1 hospitality tickets since these are separated and have their own indoor area.

Are they selling Cat 1 in resale before others?
Decent amount of Wales v England cat 1 just appeared. Looked like seven different applications, but no other categories

 

it looks like semi tickets will be hard to get, especially for 3 or 4 consecutive seats. Indeed we should always have a plan B

 

Also another reason is , the residents who are not football fans are waking up just now and wanting any ticket. Doesn't matter which match. Only the football fans bought tickets before, rest of the general population is looking for tickets now

Yes, it is true at this moment. After group match finish, then you can resell the knockout matches

For those with plan Bs, I wouldn't bother with resale.

We say that LMS has the best seats, but this time LMS has two separate portals. One reselling bad (possibly separate) seats from before, other bringing dozens of new seats from feds/sponsor returns.

 

is this LMS? or is that another round?

 

Crazy to say but a group of us who were planning to go are still unsure about going, within this we do have semi final tickets that we are most likely going to reu-pload back to the portal at some point once confirmation of numbers comes through of who out of us wants to go and who doesn't.
