Got refund also, still waiting for more matches

 

I finally got all my refunds. Last ticket i put to resale was on 5th December for R16 match.

 

I'm looking for a spare M39 Pol-Arg souvenir ticket. Mine was a guest ticket that I traded so I wasn't able to purchase it. I will pay for it + shipping. Thank you!

 

Never got an email about the souvenir tickets.

Just today (Feb 9th) I finally received a reply to a complaint about my terrible accommodation at Fan Village Caravan City which I made on Nov 20th (my second day in Qatar). "Although your booking was facilitated by the QAA, the Fan Village Caravan City is owned and operated by a third party provider. According to the terms of sale, the QAA is not responsible for any aspect of the accommodation other than the booking of the same. In this regard you are able to liaise directly with the accommodation site operator in respect of any aspect of the accommodation you were not satisfied with during your stay."

 

great! in other words, we sold you someone else’s pig in a poke and it is your own fault for buying from us, not to talk about buying pig in a poke itself

 

I don’t think anyone got emails saying they were available. I found out from social media posts.

 

Read in a social media post if you contact FIFA and tell them you couldn’t order tickets because of the error… they’re allowing your account to purchase .response less than 24 hours. I would give it a shot

I'm curious, how much does FIFA owe you guys at this point?

They still owe me 950 QAR from the tickets I sold back in August. I can't believe that they still refuse to give me my money back lol

 

Out of 4500$ , I got back 3100$, still waiting for 1 tix refund

 

Does anyone get refund of accommodation ?
I cancelled my accommodation and told them to resold, but no refunds yet.

 

1615 QAR for me, a quick search of twitter suggests a few people have been told there is an actual issue with giving refunds back and FIFA have suggested the end of next week, not sure how true this is though

 

I received refunds for rd of 16 and semifinal this week. Those were the last two refunds I was waiting on.

 

Still haven't received any ticket refunds.

I put final ticket from tst7 on resale, few minutes before the final game , and I didn't get notification that ticket got sold, I saw ticket on fifa.com for few minutes. So I guess fifa will steal from me 1500$

 

FIFA still owes me 3600 QAR! All are for R16 and R8 matches sold the day of the matches.

 

Anyone got their souvenir tickets yet?

 

I'm in Los Angeles and understood they would be shipped at the end of February (expected delivery mid march). However if youre in Doha they may already be in the mail.

 

No, I haven't. I will be in DC again on Friday and will visit the Qatar Embassy to inquire. It's a real long shot, but who knows? If successful I'll post (and if more than one is available, I'll get what I can).

I wanna say everyone here has xtra vouchers. How do you request them ?

 

I went ahead and partially disputed accommodation charge with my credit card bank for the refund I was expecting. I am tired waiting.

 

That’s what I would have done. Your credit card will give you immediate credit and put the burden of proof on FIFA. Always transact with credit cards. I got most of my flights refunded in Brazil. Avianca was a horrible mess and I disputed all the flight charges.
