For People doing back to back matches for QF, I have timed my metro journey for you. It took me 1 hour 18 Minutes. I have attached a screen shot with various lap times. Since I wanted to watch penalties and soak up the atmosphere I left my seat after a 5 min celebration, took some videos and jumped around with the Moroccans, if I left at the whistle, I would have saved 5-7 minutes plus the Lap 1 and lap 2 times. Lap 1: 9 Minutes. The time it took me to exit my seat and reach the metro security check block. In education city they stop you nearer to the metro gates and do not let everyone go in. This lap I actually ran, because from experience I knew this is make or break for rest of the journey, that is why time is only 9 minutes, previous games it took me 20 min casual walk. Lap 2: 10 min, it took them to gradually let every one into the metro and get on the train. ( This will vary depending on how fast you do the lap 1, reach early this time will be less. Lap 3 : 17 min, time it took to Al Bidda, I did not get down in Al bida as someone metioned. Was a mistake, I just lost 3 min 30 seconds, Get down in musherib. Lap 4: time it took me not getting down in Al Bidda station , going to Musherib and then coming back to al bidda , Could have saved this time if got down in Musherib. Lap 5: 24 min , metro ride to Lusial. Lap 6: 15 min, Exit metro to seat on level 5. (I jogged a little but mostly was brisk walk). I reached at 10:10 . If I did not wait for celebration and got down in musherib, I would have made it by 10 for the whistle. Once the first game goes to penalties, then we need to rush. If no extra time, this is a breeze. I know someone made it before 10 with S2S, but the problem is there are others who reached at half time. S2S can have problems like getting in traffic or driver taking a wrong turn. If we do lap 1 fast and get into the metro station, remaining times are constant so we approx. know when we can reach Lusail.
