You are welcome, happy to help. Since gates open always three hours before kick-off time, I would say probably the storage place at Lusail toningt won't be open until 7pm. Perhaps a bit earlier. It is unlikey they will open as soon as 1-2pm. What you can do is perhaps try in the Tawfeeq office they have in Lusail. You could store your bags there, go to M55 and pick them up before M56 (since they seem to close at 10pm) and store them in the stadium restricted area place.
I’m doing the metro too. The walks from the bus hubs at education city and Lusail are two of the longest. Metro definitely feels like the way to go, although I hope the transfer at Al Bidda isn’t too chaotic
When I did the #46 to #48 the other day on Metro, all the carriages were packed with fans from Education City leaving the Korea vs. Portugal game to go to Cameroon vs. Brazil at Lusail. 95%+ of people got out at Al Bidda but I gambled to go one more stop to change at Msheireb, as then you are one stop before Al Bidda on the red line and it makes more sense. This seemed to be right as when the metro then went through Al Bidda five minutes later it was super busy and only a few people could get into the metro carriage from that stop. Though probably won't matter.
In the resale portal, if I select 3 items and try to add to the cart, will it be a case of ALL or NONE. Or will it cart whatever is available out of the three and allow me to purchase?
Hello friends, my time in Qatar is at an end. There's lots to dislike about this world cup, even putting human rights issues aside. Pricing, the walking, the relatively flat atmosphere at the games and around the country that comes with a combination of FIFA price gouging/hyper commercialism and a culture which is seemingly antithetical to the usual WC experience. Lots of great stuff too though - fantastic football, a chance to bring the WC to a new region and give something to the legions of fans in Asia and the ME, the Souk, the cruise ships, good musuems mosques and camel racing (!), and of course the fans that make it what it is. It is our game, not FIFAs and i can only hope the fan experience is taken much more seriously for tournaments to come. Huge thank you to all on here - brilliant community. I have one final request and apologies as expect it's been done before - is there a way to request/buy physical copies of tickets to keep as souvenirs? Thanks!
Hi guys, has anyone been to a beach in Doha? I have days off coming and want to find fun stuff to do other than just watching games haha. Hopefully it will be a real beach and not only men with dresses
We did this stretch for M46 to M48 via S2S. The advantage of a bus is that you have guaranteed seating i.e. rest after the hustle to get to the bus hub. But the distance from bus hub to Lusail stadium is quite much via the long Lusail Blvd and I'd rather compromise some rest and walk lesser by using the metro instead, if I were to do this again.
Maybe I'm being ignorant, but compared to other international events, I don't see how this WC is considered price gouging
if anyone doing both games today please give feed feedback for everyone who's planning on doing it this Friday, much appreciated.
I've heard of people getting a very quick getaway in a taxi, but otherwise for the shuttle buses to metro head South, or South West to the express buses (eg. to Souq Waqif). Both times leaving Al Bayt I took express bus and it was super efficient.
I did the express bus after France vs. Poland. I left in the 90th minute (missed stoppage time) to beat the crowd and got there in plenty of time.
What is the difference between buying through the FCFS and Resale portal? Back in 2014 we used the Scrorpyn program (I'm always grateful to him) to cart tickets. Is there anything similar in this World Cup? Thank you all.
I'm looking to head to the Souq after so sounds like express bus. Do I need to book this on the Hayya app or just head South West after the game?
