No , we were talking about 2018 when they closed the portal and reopened with a large drop ...that's how I got my final tkts in 2014 and 2018

 

Anyone tried to change their names, etc on Hayya and how long did it take for the changes and approval to take place?

They took away to option to view Seat Location on the App.

When these big drops happen, they are in the FCFS right ? Trying to get M24. I feel it coming this week. Can anyone drop the link to fcfs and resale on here ? We can be logged into both at the same time right ?

woke up and saw there was a fcfs drop and sat in the cue for roughly 3.5 hours. nothing left.

I dont really think one is better than the other. They both have similar packages and coverage is pretty much all over the country.
The only thing I would say is that Ooredoo is the more widely used network, therefore they have many more shops all over the country (if you actually have any reason to go into the shops that is)

 

Picture of beer tents at Al Thumama last week. Not sure if they are being relocated somewhere else or not.

Worrying part for me: 8 tents in an enclosed "beer garden"..with 40,000? people trying to get in. Once in the beer garden you aren't going to leave. I'm hoping they have that figured out.

What’s a trick to stay logged into the portal, so my session doesn’t time out ? Do you guys log out and log back in right away ? Or will you have to queue once you log in right away again ?

 

When I saw that video on the NY Times they were moving one beer tent. For a moment I though there may only be one tent! So eight isn’t so bad!
Also I did wonder if they would have an enclosed area where you could buy a beer and drink it but not take the beer out of this area, and walk around the with it. Hopefully that doesn’t happen.

Why don't they provide simple, easy to read availabilty on a chart like @herewegoagain provided?

Why don't they simply show how many tickets are now available in each category for each game?

Why don't hey simply set regular times every day for release of new tickets?

Why don't they process refunds much more quickly?

I could go on but the list is quite lengthy?

Based on everything I'm hearing, you can't walk around with beer (like the fan fest) it's restricted to the beer garden/pen thing. I sure hope not as that really could be a bad scene.. like dangerous.

FYI - iOS Hayya App updated to 8.2.0.

 

I hate to say it, but getting beer is going to be harder than getting to the World Cup! The lines to get one beer are going to be outrageously long! I'm probably going to have to just pregame at my hotel and hope my buzz caries me for few hours.
