Does fifa explicitly state the address in your ticketing account has to be a residential address or can I put my business address because I want to use my business credit card which is linked to my business address.
No not explicitly. Their basis of a unique application is a household with a postal address which technically is not a business address, but honestly I can't imagine this being any issue, especially if the visa card is also linked to your business address. Afterall, a business has a postal address. Go for it...
I can’t see anything way of changing your credit card. There is a “Cancel Entry” button if you go back to the ticketing portal. I presume you can then submit again but I’ve never tried it, so I can’t say for sure
Why do you need to change? The rules say if you get a window you don't have to use the registered card, as long as you use Visa.
Did anyone tried same credit card in several applications? I already have several “clean” applications, but I was wondering if making additional applications with random names and addresses, but you need to input a real credit card (ideal y similar ñame as the applicant)
The truth of the matter is nobody really knows what FIFA will do, we can all just speculate Do what your gut feels like doing and cross your fingers. That being said, avoid the obvious, same address, same name, same card etc.
I don’t think it matters. Due to the sheer volume of applicants many will have similar/same names naturally. Different emails, different addresses are what I did.
I will be attending the World Cup 2026. I want to follow the United States. I hope to get tickets to their first three games in round one. That part is easy, sort of. What is not easy is purchasing tickets for the second round (and beyond), specifically for any USA games (if they qualify). After the Phase 3 (Random Selection Draw) is there a way tickets can be exchanged if you guessed incorrectly about round 2 games and beyond and purchased the wrong venue? Maybe there is a way for tickets to be exchanged in such an event. Or really is the only way to wait when the remaining tickets go on sale mid 2026?
So probably way too early to bring this up as not one ticket has been purchased yet, but I figured I would do so. I skipped Qatar so my last WC was Russia. In the blind draw stage, my son and I each put in for tix for two games in Moscow (where we went for a week) and one in Nizhny Novgorod which we had no intentions of going to but we figured if not many people put in for it and that was the only one we got at least we could get the Fan Visa waiver. Turns out we both scored tix to all three games. After the draw we found out that it ended up being ARG-Croatia which we knew would be in super-high demand. As you can see from my post pasted below back in May of 2018, I sold my tix at face value to another BigSoccer member while my son put his up on StubHub and got four times the face value for. He asked me why I didn't do the same and I told him I was hoping someday karma would repay the favor as the folks on this website are all standup guys. I want tix to M37 and M49 in Miami (as probably a million people do) and M59 in LA (as do probably the entire population of LA, hell make it the entire US) but I know my chances are about as good as a snowball's chance in hell so hoping for that karma to come around if someone gets tix to those matches they cannot use, just getting that out there early. Good luck to all in getting a chance to even buy tickets at this point.
Hey what's up man. Ill try for you forsure. I live in LA so I have a lot of people trying for the LA games also so hopefully Ill be able to repay the favor.
Number of applications has really slowed thankfully. The application numbers are up to 4.1 million but if it was that high, I feel FIFA would be posting about it.
I wish, but i don't think there is an easy way. The number would be way higher if we could put in 1000 a day easily.
FIFA is absolutely filtering bots and will be blocking applications even if they show to have been submitted successfully with that green page at the end. This is not up for debate and I find it shocking that despite this new phase method, everyone is happy to default to “they didn’t care in the past! Why would they care now!” Without trying to understand things. They already are using datadome protection (as some of you may have experienced with the puzzle slider captcha) at the sign up page - and datadome is NOT a cheap service at all to employ. They clearly do not want multiple accounts per individual and do not want bots involved, which makes 100% sense given this new style of phase. so once again, think twice before you submit multiple applications - good chance you get filtered imo. You may get a slot on these Alias accounts, but it will likely be later than all other “real” accounts are allocated. Even if you think you can hide your online fingerprint, you probably cant. Spoofing IP/device/username/Alias+/etc. is simplistic. There is so much more that goes into it.
You are talking like your word is gospel. You don't have to make additional applications. Everyone who does understands that it may be useless. You are pretty new the boards and haven't been here for a cycle. Those of us who have, have the experience that FIFA does not care. Could they change their mind? sure, but I am going to wait and see until it actually happens and will keep with what I know. We get another chance pre-draw if we are wrong.
Experience is useful if conditions remain the same - and for this phase, they are not the same. I may be new to the forums, but not new to processes similar to this and to anti-bot measures. It may not just be useless - it may be detrimental to all applications one makes, including for future rounds. That is my warning. With the services FIFA has employed (datadome, Akamai, etc.) and that are quite clearly visible in the cookies and network tabs of the signup pages, it is very reasonable to believe my word is “gospel”. Nevertheless, who am I to suggest warnings to others, and I have nothing to gain from it either so I’ll take the back seat now.
They've literally never done it before and I'm 100% sure it worked in Russia and Qatar and they said they were going to remove duplicates
Guys let's stop bickering over the fate of multiple entries. No one knows what FIFA will do. We all know they have the ability to screen tightly, and we all know they rarely do. So let's chill and see how this all plays out. I suppose getting the tickets one wants is part of the World Cup journey...
