Not sure, but most mid-day events are NFL games in the Fall. It does get a bit warm in the 500 section for NFL games as late as week 4 (only impacts 1 or 2 games). but it's not too bad. The rest of the year events are in the evenings and LA evenings are cool year round. The roof is necessary to host concerts year round because It does occasionally rain.

With the new FIFA World Cup private equity proposal, I am afraid those 2026 FIFA World Cup $11,000 Category 1 Final tickets may look cheap looking back. Maybe the whole stadium will be Hospitality only next time?

Been waiting since before the tournament began on one group game ticket lol. I messaged them and FIFA Ticketing sends the form email they are still working on it.

Got semifinal refunds before the final. Still waiting on qf-group games.

Yeah, it looks like we dodged a bullet on that one for now. It will be interesting, for sure, to see how ticket prices for 2030 compare to 2026. Does anyone know if ticket resale above face value is legal in Spain/Portugal/Morocco? And whether dynamic ticket pricing is legal?

Prices will be significantly lower across the board. Spain, Portugal, and certainly Morocco are filled with a local population that can’t afford to pay nearly what people in the US can. The usual teams and some holiday hot spot cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, southern Spain) will be in high demand. But the average match in Vigo or Fes will be cheap and available.

No clue on the legality of selling above face value or dynamic pricing. UEFA is waiting until after the draw to sell tickets for Euro 2028 (presumably to apply a variable pricing scheme). But there’s no concern about selling every ticket in the UK/Ireland with such a small amount of matches, so there’s no real ticket sales benefit to starting prior to the draw.

For WC 2030, I would expect multi-phase pre and post draw sales with differing prices, unless it’s explicitly illegal (I suspect it’s not illegal).

UEFA have already said there will be equal pricing across group matches. I would be surprised if they then implement variable prices for the knockout phase.

I believe that Portugal and Morocco don't allow resale above face value. Certain Spanish regions also ban it and the government is trying to pass a national law. Happy to be corrected though.

UEFA have already stated there will be no significant price increases from Euro2024. They also stated that 40% of the tickets will be in the affordable categories. The 10K per competing nation for the group stages is also confirmed. No dynamic pricing

There is no way they will be allowed to go back on any of this. I really don't think they will try.

UEFA EURO 2028 puts fans first with fair and transparent ticketing principles | UEFA EURO 2028 | UEFA.com

To be clear on what they said.

Fans First: More than 40% of tickets will be offered in the most affordable categories.

No dynamic pricing across the tournament and equal pricing for regular group stage matches, giving fans a consistent and fair ticketing experience.

I take the first one to mean cats 3 and 4. That is clear and leaves little to no wriggle room.
Cat 1 and 2 - lets wait and see,
The second one means that we may well have different prices for different matches in the KO rounds. Ie - 2 matches in R16 could have different prices. Which would be a departure from previous tournaments.
It wont be as bad for the spectator as 26, but I am sceptical of nirvana.

Prices will broadly be in line with Euro2024. No significant price increases. There will be still be expensive tickets.

See 2024 prices although there were later prime seats at 400 euros.

Different Rof16 games will not be priced differently.

2026 is the outlier here. FIFA and UEFA are different organisations. There is simply no way UEFA can backtrack now.

The UEFA statement does not state what you say about R16. Am not saying they wont - but the statement does not state they will.

UEFA have never used dynamic pricing or variable pricing for tournaments. There is nothing to indicate this will change.

I think the reason UEFA came out with that first bullet point is just to make it clear that they're not going to be sneaky and increase the relative portions of cat 1 & 2 sections. I don't think it suggests that cat 1&2 will be significantly more expensive.

I'd expect cat 2 tickets to be double the price of cat 3 tickets, like in Euro 2024.

I didnt say dynamic pricing. They have ruled it out.
All my suspsicions (borne out) with 26 were based on what was left unsaid.
If UEFA says they wont do somethin, I assume they wont. Am looking at what is left out of statements.

I take the second point to mean that the prices for the knockout rounds will increase round by round, not that individual games in each knockout rounds will be priced differently.

Has anyone applied for those souvenir tickets for WC matches you attended that were available in the fifa store a few weeks ago? From memory they were $25 each. Had a look today but couldn't find any trace of it.

Yes ordered them 3-4 weeks ago. Nothing here yet and from what one can understand could be 4-6 weeks after tournament finished.or he nice Swiss man is kicked out. Whichever comes first.

I am very surprised by this. Not the fact that FIFA have stopped doing something that many of thousands of fans would actually want but the fact that they can still make a lot of money out of it rather than most of the other irrelevant tat they are still pushing.

What an absolute bummer. Wasn't aware. Thought I'd just wait a few weeks and give myself a post World Cup rest. Oh well, I'm back into tonight. Currently visiting Istanbul and am at the Fenerbahce v Sturm Graz CL qualifier. Got checked 4 times before getting to my seat. Insane security.

The FIFA beancounters likely see diminishing returns. If the ROI was there; they'd be printing them.I waited myself and missed out. :(
