I went to the France 4 Belgium 2 in Puebla in 1986 and it was rather good and quite relaxing from the tension of all that went before. Interestingly Platini played. I wonder if Mbappe will to add to his goals total.
Correct; Americans jump on Ticketmaster/StubHub as a reflex. Most if not all American sports teams use those sites to sell legitimate tickets. For example; sat next to a family that bought M84 on Ticketmaster. I'm going to guess they grossly overpaid. But they were very happy to be there. So I wasnt gonna be the guy to ruin their moment by telling them I paid maybe 1/4th what they paid.
Real madrid will be pissed lol. Paying him $685,000 a week. Had ice on his foot in the qf. I think he wants the golden boot tho.
Resale prices definitely haven't dropped. It looks like FIFA is releasing probably a last batch of tickets for the finals as there is another queue for the last minute sales now.
If this wildfire wind blows the wrong way over the next couple of days they might be regretting their decision to have an outdoor stadium final.
The floor was “face value” because there was large LMS drop. Cat 2 and 3 mostly gone. Prices will not drop much.
When the resale marketplace died before eng-argentina... There were Argentineans by the gates with will buy for $3500 signs. It was $2500-2700 a couple hours before. Crazy FOMO
Anyone in NYC with an extra Coke cup from England-Argentina? I have extra Spain-France & would like to swap. Or, if you’d prefer the a Coke cup from the final, I could grab an extra on Sunday for the swap.
Was the $2500-$2700 ticket cartable and deliverable? That’s the problem. I log into Marketplace and shows tickets that aren’t cartable. Bots rule or software glitches.
For people who’ve been to MetLife already: do they sell the matchday scarves/t shirts only in the stores inside the stadium? Or in the fan zone after the gates and before ticket check too?
The ones after the gates and AFTER ticket check too. There's a whole "village" of FIFA stuff before entering the actual stadium hallways. There's stores inside those hallways too. Word to the wise - scarves and match day t shirts run out extremely quickly. Your best bet is to get to the stadium before doors open, stand in line, and as soon as doors open, dash to the FIFA merch store.
Key words: “after ticket checks”. There is no merch sales or anything before a ticket check. Get there early and if you don’t want lines go up to the second or third floor stores. Everyone bottles up in the fanzone. If you’re looking for the Bank of America bracelet you should score that first. Those lines are diabolical
Just to be clear, you guys are saying the merch booths in the fan zones next to the food trucks, BOFA/Michelob/etc stands don’t have the matchday souvenirs? I need to actually go through the final ticket scan at the stadium concourse entrance? Just wanna be sure since I haven’t bothered trying to get any merch up to this point
