Or you could look for an early flight from Dallas to somewhere within driving distance of Atlanta. Chattanooga, Greenville, Birmingham, and Augusta are places I can think of that are less than 3 hours drive.
Is there a way to write an email to the fifa ticketing office without using the bs contact form that always results in a generic reply?
I think after the tournament is over you start getting regular human replies still delayed by 48 hrs. I've called their swiss number using skype and got a human in 2022 before the tournament tho
thanks the 3k dollar m1 ticket that i transferred to a friend disappeared in my purchase history and my accountant tells me i need proof of that sort of transactions to avoid potential fines.
I transfer the ticket and the dude sent a bank wire (face value), apparently if i don’t show the invoice of the original purchase it can be an issue (which i thought it would be available in my fifa account) as it can be considered as an undeclared income…these days any bank transfer you receive has to be properly explained if not it can be seen either as an income or a donation (which you should declare and pay some taxes on it), Welcome to the age of the new inquisition
Am personally taking the Frontier 8:11p to ATL via MCO. I see it on their site for $540 which is steep to the $200 I paid. My plan is as follows: 2p M101 start 4p M101 end + walk to car 4:30p Drive to DFW 5:30p Rental drop-off 6p TSA 7p Lounge 7:30p DFW-ATL board Yes, Im banking on no extra time. Worst case I don’t stop by the airport lounge. I think I’ll also pass TSA under my assumed 1hr. Edit: I’ll have my luggage inside my rental, so no hotel pit stop needed.
Early morning flight to Charlotte, then 4 hour drive or Fly to Birmingham and drive 2hr 15 min either way you should get to Atlanta around 1230-1pm - stow your bags at the airport and take MARTA right downtown to the stadium
Overpriced nosebleeds. Prices are crashing on the resale sites. If you wait until the day of the match, they are going to be much cheaper than that. FIFA seems to be dumping tickets on other sites.
Three comments, one question... - One set of my tickets (not purchased with my own credit card) does not show up, so I guess "it" happens - For every ticket purchased under my account (with or without my own CC), I received an email with the invoice. Check your mailbox - AFAIK, there is no tax on donations in the US up to several millions $ - above $19,000 you need to report it -, which leads me to my question... - Are you a US resident?
I decided to sit out the quarters, unless england norway dropped, and it hasn't. Friend and I have flights to Dallas, dallas to Atlanta. He just checked his Delta app and he got moved to a later flight! mine is still 5:30am. but yeah your only chance now is to fly after the dallas semi and hope it doesn go into extra time. I still don't have tickets, if they don't drop into my buy zone, I'm good with the 6 matches I saw. USA Australia - amazing! USA Turkey - Boooo Brazil Japan - amazing! USA Bosnia - good! USA Belgium - sucked! Argentina Egypt - what a come back!
How have people’s experiences with the NY bus shuttle been? I booked the 11-11:30 bus for the final when the tickets were first released but I see there are earlier ones available now (starting at 9:30). Worth it to buy an earlier slot? (there are no exchanges, but an extra $40 is probably worth it if there’s any chance of issues)
Trying to take a look at last minute sales and stuck on this page before the waiting time. What's going on here? Also, what are people thinking in terms of tickets to the final. Seems like there are tickets down to about $7k now. How low do you guys think it might go after a few more teams are eliminated?
im in same situation, but will just head at an earlier window anyways as I’ve read no one checks the time slot on your ticket
Much lower. Resellers are in the $6K range already. I saw a couple today in the $5K range on resale, but they sold quickly. For reference, tickets to the final in Qatar were around $8K buy in on Stubhub a week before the match. 2 people in our group got 2 tickets together, pretty good seats too, for $1,600 day of the match. It sure looks like the trend is the same here. I would say hold until the day of the match. Ticket prices are falling like a rock. I just got a couple of nice Category 2 tickets for France-Spain for WAY under face value. We will go to Dallas tomorrow to spend a few days there. I am thinking France-Spain may be the real final, in that the winner of that match will be the heavy favorite in the final.
I live very close to the stadium, so I could conceivably wait until the morning of the match. The only thing is I'm not sure about getting to the match at the last minute. I think you need to have a ticket first to buy parking, right? (I checked, and parking is still available at this time). I'm not sure about the train, has it actually sold out? I guess I could uber if it came down to it.
If it works, you’ll probably save a few thousand dollars. I think the prices for the final now are assuming England or Argentina will be in the final. Prices will go crazy low if it is Norway or Switzerland instead. That would be like 2018, when a lot of people were trying to sell tickets to the final for $1,000 on the way to the stadium. I didn’t see anyone buying at that price.
I'm curious to hear ideas for getting out of the Dallas stadium efficiently since I will (hopefully) be attending both semis. I bought a flight months ago and the only option was Southwest Airlines out of Love Field at 8:35pm. It will just be me (50 yrs old and in decent shape if I need to walk father from the stadium to get transport). Official rideshare spot seems like it could be a mess and I don't have the luxury of hanging out after the final whistle given the quick turnaround. I have never been to Dallas so don't know any back roads or tricks like I do in my hometown. Any Dallas locals or those that attended a match there previously have any ideas/advice? Thank you!
What's the difference between 'Boooo' and 'sucked' in your classifications? You did well with your choice.
