The water looks quite good value in comparison.

Hahaha! No, just patience, and experience. I think the advantage is having the ability to afford whatever price people are asking, but the objective to not pay more than necessary.

Not really. This is how Popovic normally sets up his teams and tactics. Last night was an absolute masterclass from him. 1 pt from remaining 2 games should be enough to get through now. Obviously very tough game against US but it's a bit less pressure and stress now.

Vancouver was a vibe last night, stadium rocking and looks gorgeous with actual real grass instead of turf. Perfect evening with the weather by the water and mountains view. The Aussies and Turk supporters loved it.

I regret not accepting Canada Red’s offer for RO32 tickets (2 for 700 CAT 3)….ticket prices skyrocketing now.

I got the AUS/Turkey tickets CAT 2 350 cad each a few days back …day of the game I could have sold for twice the price!

Anyone in Vancouver I suggest checking out the fan fest at Granville Island before heading Downtown, and take the skytrain to Waterfront then the Seabus to North Van for the shipyards fan fest - absolutely crazy there

I haven't been there yet, and I don't think it's an official FIFA fan fest, but downtown San Jose seems to be doing very well with its public viewings, just a few miles from "San Francisco Bay Area Stadium."

Hi, were you at the match? If so, did you take public transit? How were DART/TRE to Centreport and the shuttles to the stadium before and after the match?

Yes and yes. Took DART to Centreport - got on the train around 11:20. It was very clean and orderly throughout; very good organization and crowd control at every step of the way.

Funny, on resale, prices went up, at least a little, generally across the board after the USA win, but now they are dropping back down again, for most matches, even lower than before. I think it’s because there are just SO MANY MATCHES. My God, 4 per day is exhausting, even on TV.

One thing we noticed, if you want to buy any of the super expensive (overpriced, really) stuff at the FIFA Store in the stadium, you get a 10% discount if you use a Visa credit card to pay. That makes it slightly less overpriced. I had to get the mascots, which cost me 3X this time, because there are 3 of them. But I had to buy them, because I have all of them from 1966 on.

Usually the team listed first in the versus is left, second is right of stadium.

They didn't seem to care. Small clear bags allowed you to walk through... If you had a larger clear bag it was inspected at a table. Happened to my bro.

$23 @ Levi's for Michelob ultra or bud light
    $23 Margaritas

Blue metallic Michelob beer Cups have flags
Margarita plastic cup is a small generic aqua colored world cup cup
My bro said coke cups were about $10? Had the teams on there too.

Michelob cups at M11 didn't have flags, only "Dallas" written on them

Same for Los Angeles, except they have the date on them too. But the beer in World Cup cups was “only” $18 in L.A. Coca Cola cups in L.A. have the country names (USA - PAR). I think the price was $7.75 for Coca Cola? They ran out of Coca Cola cups pretty fast, though. We only got one with the first purchase, the second time we just got the bottle.

Dallas - enjoyed the stadium. Nice temperature and lighting.
FIFA making many fans walk an unnecessarily long.way as usual.
An hour before kick off no queue at outer perimeter or turnstiles. Walked straight in.
    Our cups all had flags.
Enjoyed Cowboys cheerleaders in hydration break.
First half was an utter bore and clearly demonstrated how FIFA have overpriced a largely duff product.
Japan fans did them proud. Much more noise than the Dutch.
Uber from downtown Dallas to stadium $50 three hours before kick off.
    American beer 16oz draft $18.50

Tony Luke's at the Linc had roast pork sandwiches without broccoli rabe? THIS IS NOT A GOOD REPRESENTATION OF YOUR CITY.

Otherwise everything ran smoothly. Line to enter the stadium was long but moved fast. Security the same as a normal game. Made a quick exit, took the express subway train, and was back in Center City by 9:30. Felt bad for the Ecuador fans.

Maybe it was photoshopped. They didn’t have flags or team names in L.A., only the city and date. In fact they were pretty cheap looking, especially compared to Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018. Those Russia 2018 lighted cups were really nice!

And I didn’t realize that Budweiser was out as a sponsor and Michelob was in.

They both have the same parent company. Michelob is being positioned as the beer of choice for athletes / fit people / sports, which I think is why we're seeing it more and more in events like this.
