Only issue I see with that is it would create a precedent for all the remaining games. Everyone would just sit on the sidelines waiting, knowing prices would come down.
Here are the final seating capacities I plugged these into a spreadsheet with the number of games for each city, and the grand total is: 6,829,077
The day is here, guys. I sit in a cafe in Guadalajara waiting foe the opening match to KO. Enjoy the tournament, and if you havent done so, get your ESTA sorted. And if you come to Guad, book a trip to a tequila distillery.
Viva Mexico! Ceremonia de Apertura de la copa mundial de la FIFA 2026 starting on peacock / Telemundo
After Mexico's opening win over Belgium in '86...that city wasn't just "popping", it was shakin'... That evening, among throngs of partying fans in the streets, I felt a 'tremor' and looked up to see a streetlight swaying slightly. My Chilango buddy looked over at me and just grinned and nodded his head knowingly...
How can I stream the World Cup matches on my phone while I'm in the US or Mexico? What streaming services do I need to sign up for? It looks like the apps I use back in my country won't work abroad.
We're staying in Tequila for 3 nights prior to M28. Hitting Fortaleza, Atanasio and El Tequileno (that ones actually connected to our hotel)
Looks like Fox One is app that will have all the games. Peacock may be an option as well but Fox is the main rights holder from what I understand
In the US, the authorized streaming platforms are Fox One in English for $19.99/month or Peacock in Spanish with the cheapest plan being $7.99/month. A selection of games, including the opener right now and the US game tomorrow, are free on an app called Tubi. You might also try to use a VPN connection to your home country to use the platforms you have there.
Some amex cards had 19.99 off Fox one. I think peacock is free with amex platinum and certain Xfinity subscribers
I can feel the energy from the stadium for this opening match through my TV screen and seats look quite filled - guess the prices weren't as much of a deterrent as a lot of people thought. Hope the vibe holds for the USA and CAN stadium matches
i didnt realize the fox one until it was too late. it expires today and they have a stupid 3 day trial that cant be bypassed so i couldnt be charged before the offer was gone.
Something like this is happening. I had a pair of super cheap Category 3 tickets in my cart, but they were last row, so I let them go. I kept refreshing but they never showed up again. I never saw that happen before, even if someone carts them right away, they still show up on the seat map.
You can do the buy two months get one free... U need the extra week for the last week of ko's/final anyways. It's like 39.98 and charges immediately so you get the -19.99 credit
I am totally fine with watching on Peacock in spanish since I have Peacock for EPL. It was mostly just to have if it was going to be 100% free.
Ticked up a bit since then, but still in that range.. seatsidekick.com showing real time scan of fifa marketplace.
Lawsuits… and big brands , luxury brands .. try not to diminish it by doing 2 for 1… same reason handbags dont do it( hermes for example) or a michelin star restaurant doesnt do early bird specials…
