The thing about M8 is I'm fully willing to skip it at $200. It's not an essential match for me. I'll probably be better off avoiding the heat at noon in a stadium designed to maximize sun exposure. I'm just surprised the prices are holding so steady.

Whats the pregame spot to go to in Guadalajara? The stadium looks pretty far from downtown. I'll be in Tequila next week then Guadalajara the night before M28

I'm still waiting on M44, Jordan Algeria... Cheapest Cat1 seems to hover at or under $200 and Cat2 around $175... But not a ton of each and nobody seems to be really buying any higher even though some at those prices go. If that's the market value, my thought is, that means there are about 6,000 tickets priced over market value. So rather than only a handful at market rate per day, I have to think there will be hundreds, if not thousands that hit that rate or lower in the next 11 days... Thoughts?

If this bonanza is just 1,300 tickets I very much doubt M53 will be one of them.

Comes out to an average of 12 tickets per game, so maybe 3 or 4 Airbnb stays per game will get this. In other words, don't count on it.

Am I imagining things or did FIFA dramatically expand the Category 3 area for some matches? I am seeing a lot of Category 2 tickets on resale that are in the top 2 or 3 rows of the stadium and some Category 3 tickets that are a lot lower down just in adjacent sections. I am guessing those bad Category 2 tickets were purchased early on to get the bad seat assignments.

1,035 is the lowest price for USA - Australia I am seeing in SeatGeek, the FIFA resale and TickPick.

I may have to pull the trigger since I would need to book a flight and a hotel for at least one night.

Kansas City has some cheap games, so I am just going to pick up a few of those and watch the rest from home.

This says 920, I assume that is before fees.

Argentina vs Algeria is also tempting at 900 dollars, it would same me for a flight to Seattle, but then I am stuck in Kansas city for 2 weeks.

Zero World Cup vibe in Mexico City. Locals don’t seem to care much. There’s no decorations; Doha was better so far.

Does anyone know if the 40 ticket max per account rule applies to purchasing the tickets from fifa or even if people are to transfer them to your account? I remember some folks saying they went to a significant number of games on Doha, anyone had more than 40 tickets in their ticketing account?

The prices on Seat Sidekick are after fees. It tells you the exact seat where it found that price, so you can zoom in on the FIFA seat map to find it, though it may be gone because of the time lag since the last scan.

I'm waiting. Did we say third party sites are closing sales 4hrs before? Is it the same with the fifa marketplace?

That's crazy. I'd have expected Mexico City to be popping the day before M1.

A friend told me they are having a lot of protests against the World Cup in Mexico City and they are bracing for tomorrow because there are many protests planned for tomorrow, including closing down access roads around the city.

Doha was 60 per account & 6 per match. 40 & 4 max for 2026 regardless of how you obtained them. Create a 2nd account.

I will fight anyone who speaks positively about the 'vibe' of that World Cup lol. Qatar just did not have it.

One thing to think tho, is how many outside fans are really going to be in Mexico City? They only have 3 group stage matches and 2 are Mexico vs opponents who are not going to bring a lot. The Colombia/Uzbekistan match should be better but it is a week away, no one is there yet.

I would suspect that Monterrey and Guadalajara will have more international fan flair.
