Very low inventory, but hopefully we see some last minute deals. Demand is too high for M1.

Haven’t received m27 yet. They’re working on it tho.

Just a heads up but the match is at 6pm. If you leave at 2pm you're going to get there at 3ish (traffic is not going to be a thing 4 hours before kick IMHO) and I don't know that there's a lot going on outside the stadium given no cars/tailgate? I'm taking the 3pm given it's at 6pm; thought about the 4pm as I think I'd be arriving at my seats at 545 but felt too risky. It's *really* not a far drive and there are the extra bus lanes and no one is allowed to drive to park at MetLife so I'm pretty optimistic about the drive to the stadium.

Anyone have any idea if there's a FanZone style food + booze option in the MetLife parking lot for this one?

Are there any photos of the set up around the stadiums yet? I would expect there would be bars and TV screens, etc set up within the expanded security perimeter. They must be using the vast car parks for something!

It looks like they dropped only the first few matches last Thursday. I received my M6.

I am expecting another drop Thursday which should include my M27.

Here's the security perimeter and semi view of the activities inside. I assumed everyone is going to American Dream before/after.

M4 is going to have loads of empty seats unless they let random people from outside get in for free, I hope there's loads of empty seats so FIFA gets a bunch of hate

on my mexican whatsapp groups, a bunch of people still looking for m1, but 90% are looking for cat 3's, people are mostly selling cat 1's, some at FV and front rows (overpriced).

M28 is more expensive than M1 and there's a much lower supply from what I have seen

Saw a video earlier today of a Scottish guy interviewed on TalkSport who had exactly this predicament. The strange thing was he'd travelled to NY in the past year with no issues. The amount of money the poor guy has spent on everything and it doesn't look like he's going to manage to have it overturned.

He had no idea as to the reason, said he's got a spotless record. The staff weren't able to throw any light on it either or that's what they were telling him at least. He's raised it with his local MP and taken it pretty far up the governmental chain also.

Wow, that's poor organization. The whole point of advanced reservations is that they can can stop taking them when they reach capacity. Sounds like they took a bunch of reservations, then said, "oops, too many". Lame.

I'll certainly be very happy once it starts. This tournament preamble is by a mile the worst of any I have known for so many reasons.

It seems like most Korean fans around me don't have tickets for M28 either, except for a very small number who were allocated tickets through the official supporters group. A lot of people are either shelling out over 2k USD for them, or just giving up on attending the match altogether.

Thinking about going to M20(Jordan vs. Austria) but wondering about the ticket prices.
I've been watching the resale market, and it seems like whenever tickets go under $100, or Cat 1 drops under $200, they get bought up right away. Do you think prices will go down even more on gameday, or should I just grab them now?

There are over 5,000 tickets available for Cat 1 to 3 and being only a week away you can probably afford to wait a couple of days. Personally being an impatient person I would probably buy them now as they are still pretty good value.

The cheapest I've seen is $90 for Jordan Austria.

Went past San Francisco Bay Area Stadium, ;) they are putting in the finishing touches with the fence cover layovers and the outside game areas.

Tomas Aquino bike route that runs along the creek looks like the best way to get to the stadium.

During the Superbowl Great America Parkway was open, but Tasman was closed off from the Hilton/ convention center onward. I think VTA will take you to this point. (This was where people got off during the Superbowl).

Right now you can walk around the stadium. From the youth soccer fields to the Great America parking lots. Qatar Switzerland is already displayed on the electronic billboards. I was surprised to see Switzerland on the left sided electronic board at A gate as they were the "visiting" team, but then realized both sides A & C gate screens were showing Switzerland. Later on both sides showed Qatar. Was pretty funny listening to the announcers practice their spiel. Looks like everything is ready to go for Saturday at noon.

So hard to tell.. M4 will be fascinating to see how it turns out. I do think a ton of people who plan on going have put their tickets up for resale at high prices just to see if they will sell. If not, they will go to the game.

But this of all games was the headscratcher.

Also just no movement in price on the other US games. Stable for a long time.

For the Super Bowl, I pre-gamed at Smoke Eaters and walked to the stadium (25 min) Great beer selection and good wings. No charge for parking.

    Stubhub, Seatgeek or tippick

What site do you all recommend for FIFA game tickets?

SeatGeek since theyre getting tickets direct from FIFA and have instant transfer. Avoid Stubhub at all costs. If you get a great deal, it probably wont be delivered.

Yea I got 4 tickets for $90 a piece in the second deck for this game, figured that was probably the best deal I'd find. Someone might get really desperate and drop the price to some fourth deck tickets to below that, but I figured $90 for second deck seats was pretty good.

As for transportation, I'm going to have to park because I'm driving in from 2 hours away (found a parking lot not too far away for $65 so not terrible). My family who's based in the bay though is taking VTA. There's tons of great public transit options to get to Levi's from really any direction.
