Very cool, thanks for sharing. Good to know where their security perimeters are.

:D A few posts there fella.

Just to give some balance, I travelled from UK to Miami in November, San Francisco in February and Los Angeles in March.
I wasn't asked any questions when passing through Passport Control and actually thought how pleasant everyone was.
No one asked to see my phone, or asked about social media.

Match 4 resale is there now. As of this morning, it had even more tickets than before, well over 4,000.

I'm going to the Brazil-Morocco match in NJ on Saturday. I have a parking pass for the American Dream mall and I made a reservation for a restaurant at the mall to eat before we go to the match. Today the restaurant called me because they wanted to make sure I was aware of the World Cup (LOL) and the what was going on at the mall, and they wanted to tell me that the mall is charging $125 to park that day. That was news to me as I thought nobody was allowed to drive and park at the mall unless they purchased the parking pass from JustPark through FIFA for $225...

$125 to park at a mall. The entire 2026 World Cup organisation summed up in just a few words.

I was at those 2 matches at the Rose Bowl. For Colombia the crowd was probably 50% Colombians, 20% other Latin Americans cheering for Colombia, 10% US fans and the rest misc.

For Romania there were a lot more US fans there. The win over Colombia increased interest quite a bit among non football fan Americans. But still probably no more than 30% US fans. Despite no Latin American teams playing the majority of the crowd were Latin Americans. There were about 12 Romanians.

I am starting to think you may be right! I picked up some Front Row tickets in the corner in that price range. Looks like a decent view from the SoFi seat view images.

Maybe I’ll even be able to tell that it is Katy Perry performing down there.

Staying in manhattan next weekend and going to Brazil Morocco. I'm in Midtown(ish) area, hotel wasn't bad at all.

Given the game is 6pm what would folks recommend? There's the $20 shuttle and $90 train. Obviously I'd prefer the $20 one and it looks like extra bus lanes. But worried about that on the way back. But NJ Transit has it's own issues!

Would love a steer from the group here.

I've booked the bus for m77. Booked to leave Penn station at 2pm for the 5pm k.o. It's chaos after the match whether bus, train or car so I'd rather just go the cheaper option. $90 for a 20 minute (??) suburban train ride is absurd.

Easy for me to say, since I won't be going there at all, but I'd take the $20 shuttle. For the way back, are you worried about it being slow, or about not being able to board? In addition to the lower price, the bus avoids being on a train to Penn Station in the middle of the Knicks game.

No where to park no where to drive. World Cup Soccer World Class Gridlock. These are some of the messages on signs on the interstate in NJ begging people to take NJ transit to the stadium. The other day the NY/NJ committee sent out a thing saying private buses not allowed. Private vehicles allowed to drop off but not pick up. Walking not allowed. They are trying to make it impossible for people to find solutions to their extortionate train prices.

the buses wlll likely have dedicated lanes. Train requires you to switch at Secaucus junction. I generally prefer trains but in this instance bus seems much better being a quarter of the price.

Yeah I’m worried about it taking forever to board all the buses and I’m not going to leave the stadium before final whistle. suppose I’ll sprint after the whistle to the bus.

Finally bit the bullet and got 2 "standard supporters" tickets in the 2nd level for USMNT vs Paraguay for $860 (original FV was $1940). Figure it might still drop a bit below that, but it's getting pretty close to match day!

That seems like a fair price given the seat location.

Your predictions on prices seem to be the best. What do you think about M1? Any drop in prices?

My guess is no. Mexico fans seem the most likely to overpay to watch their team. I was just watching a full replay of the 1986 World Cup quarterfinal Mexico-West Germany on Televisa. The atmosphere was as crazy as I remembered watching it live back then. That was a terrific Mexico team, probably their best ever with Hugo Sanchez in his prime. They really should have won that match, after West Germany got that red card, but they lost on penalties.

I just looked at the current rates for our hotel in Atlanta and they have halved in price and looking on Booking.Com you can almost select as many rooms as you want. Pretty amazing as it is a very good hotel and walking distance from the stadium.

    Hey RTT folks,

Are you guys receiving your tickets already?

I’ve received Brazil vs. Morocco and Ecuador vs. Ivory Coast, but I still haven’t gotten the others, like France vs. Senegal, Brazil vs. Haiti, or any of the later matches.

    How about you guys?

NJ Transit (in NYC/NJ) was handing out these flyers today. I’m hopeful the shuttle was the right decision over train. A lot cheaper too.

The Bus has to be the best option on all accounts. Loved the word 'ridership'. Never seen that before.
