I finally got my England-Croatia tickets. After checking LMS at least 100 times something remotely reasonable became available. First row of a 300-level corner section for $1,010. Still planning to sell two US-Turkiye tickets to hopefully recoup most of the cost.
Anyone doing M94 + M96? I have 2 x tix for M94 and assuming we'll be able to snag M96 (esp since they are still available on the official portal). Now, I'm starting to plan logistics. Is anyone else planning to make this double? If so, are you flying, bussing, something else? There are *very* limited flights or busses available that work with the timeframes - given M94 won't end until 8PM-ish and M96 kicks at 1PM the next day. If there's enough interest maybe a Sprinter charter? Or maybe someone's already doing that? Feel free to DM if you wanna discuss options.
I still have dreams about the fantastic muffuletta (type of sandwich) from Central Market, and even though it’s a tourist trap, I loved Cafe du Monde so much, I went there multiple times.
I think a ton of non Americans would enjoy this. From what I understand, they think the yellow school bus is something fictional from movies/tv, almost an urban myth. It blows their mind to realize it’s a real thing, used by American school kids.
I'm doing M27 + M32 which is similar. M27 is 3pm kickoff in Vancouver, M32 is 12pm kickoff in Seattle next day. I got a 5:30am Cantrail bus that arrives in Seattle around 9am.
Then pay the $125, uber or shuttle and 0 risk.. pretty sure those restaurants are not stupid.. and they will either start charging or towing… and who wants the headache of getting your car out … forget the $$,just the time it takes not worth the risk
I'm going to Seattle for the USA match. My wife's Korean and the night before I want to watch Korea vs Mexico and want to find a good place for that. Any recommendations? It would be cool if there was a good Korean spot to watch it, but if not any recommendation will do.
Now we're getting closer to the tournament, would it not be a good idea to have separate threads for each individual city so issues/questions/ information is more easily available?
I'm surprised they have many of them in New York City. Staten Island and the outer parts of Queens makes sense but there surely aren't many in Manhattan. I expect tourists will like the novelty, definitely a photo op. Unless they're very uncomfortable. It is a good idea to make use of the transport available.
Hasn't that always been the point of THIS thread? It is mainly this iteration of tournament that ticketing has been SUCH an issue. As stuff comes up for issue, people should post it here. The forum is searchable.
Agree. I would steer clear of parking and walking there imho. We are going the shuttle from the fan zone
There are a ton in NYC. Why wouldn’t there be? Kids still have to get to school, and many schools (especially private schools) are spread out across the city. Much easier for kids to hop on the bus than for parents to have to walk or subway with their kid to school then go to work.
I have a quick question, do you know if I can transfer a PMA ticket to a regular person? that isn't a PMA for that national team?
Wonder when US Soccer is planning to transfer our tickets. I guess middle of the month is technically tomorrow. They're sure taking their sweet time. EDIT: I meant for the US Soccer draw that occurred in... March I think?
Can you let me know the prices for Cat 2 for Match 39? I have some extra tickets because at the time I didn't know which game I would be able to go too. Want to see if I can break even :/
If you’re staying in the city, Pelicana in Cap Hill would be your best best - I go there for their amazing chicken and they always have games playing in the background. Golmok recently opened nearby but not sure if they have TVs and they’d put up the games. The “real” vibes would be down south in Federal Way which is where the majority of Koreans live in the Seattle area - honestly can’t go wrong with any bar/restaurant there.
Agreed, my husband is English and I am American - we had to ride a yellow school bus to head to an event and he was so excited lol
