I'm also interested about street parking in that part of Houston. There is a dedicated app (ParkHouston app), but it's not available for non-US Google accounts (same story with ParkMobile app). Anyway, I used StreetView to have an idea about that area, but I can't say that I find a solution. It's Texas, I really don't want to park (by mistake) on someone's property
There is no such thing in Houston. You can either park & ride at the Fannin South Transit Center, although I don't know how much they will charge you. I would take the Metro and leave the car somewhere along the red line route where street parking is permitted.
For Houson, one option would be to park in a garage in the Texas Medical Center. Last I heard it is about 10-15 dollars per day and take the Metro train to the stadium, a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Actually, I believe you can park at the Hermann Park Lot that is free, and walk till the Museum District station.
Not to get too political but the Presidential administration has made it easier for fans from Algeria, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Tunisia. They will not have to pay a Visa bond to travel to the USA as long as they have purchased tickets.

US Soccer sent Presidents Circle members opportunity to buy tix to some non-US games. I just got this today. If anyone wants me to look at any prices let me know: I just grabbed 4 (max) for the Netherland/Tunisia game, Cat 3 at $190 each. Glad you asked... For Kansas City: 1) pay for parking, $125 and enjoy the tailgating 2) pay for the shuttle $15pp 3) take uber or... 4) your free parking/walking options (and I've done this before, no worries): it's a 30 minute walk but pretty easy and free. Circled in red at the top are 3-4 places to eat/drink/park: - Score's Sports Bar: no frills sports bar, super local/dive but decent food and cold beer - Dixon's Chili: aw man, this place is classic. Old time chili counter place. Super classic. - Hi Boy: the old school version of this great famous hamburger stand. - Carmen's Cantina: family run mexican place, cold beers on tap All are on the same intersection, just park there and act normal.
Please keep us updated as the tournament goes along. I am concerned that the KC restaurants might not allow us to park there once they figure out people in soccer jerseys are trying to walk inconspicuously away from the restaurant area.
Won't be an issue (be positive!). Especially if you have a beer/food before and/or after, they'd love the business.
What about the late games? If a match goes into Penalties it could be close to midnight when these inconspicuous people walk back to the parking lot area.
Bro. stop. If that concerned: 1) pay for parking, $125 and enjoy the tailgating 2) pay for the shuttle $15pp 3) take uber
I hear ya. FWIW... Score's pub is open until 1:30am. And I'm not saying there's a guarantee that nothing bad will happen, just saying its what people do for Chiefs games.
