I still haven’t seen any softening in hotel prices in KC, unlike Atlanta and a bit in Dallas/FTW, not much if any in Boston either. I’m sorted anyway for KC as I got a great rate in Liberty last year and will be driving to Arrowhead having booked parking as the shuttle bus option looks a faff from the outskirts for a late KO and no benefit in me going to a PR site along I-70 etc compared to stadium parking. I did notice the BW next to the stadium finally opened up ( maybe FIFA release?)............at about $700 per night! That’s a great thing you’re offering to others
Thank you very much for your offer. At this point I don't know if I will go to Kansas anymore. I don't know which game in Toronto I will attend: M33 (1st option, but I don't have ticket yet) or M62 (I have ticket). For me it's mandatory to attend at least one game in every country. Unfortunately, options for CDMX and Toronto are very limited because it is difficult to get tickets. For this reason my schedule is not 100% decided yet (actually, main reason is the fact that my national team played in european play-off in march 2026)
I've been tracking M4 on the LMS site. FIFA appears to be moving those tickets. At a slow rate but they are moving. Maybe FIFA wont need to drop prices after all.
Are they though? From what I've seen, they have been dropping a bunch of tickets and then later removing them en masse to create the illusion of scarcity.

The Landing (sports bar) 1189 W Kansas St, Liberty, MO 64068 If you are nearby, this place is a PERFECT slice of Midwest life. Open late, bands, sports bars are where the whole town gets together. Can't recommend it enough for the 'authentic' view of Midwest. (Maybe overselling it a bit but we always go when we go back to KC, reminds me of the high school days, just enough white trash vibes to keep it real. Ha
New York opens registration for free World Cup watch party on Long Island https://ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/ne...-2026-world-cup-viewing-events-on-long-island
Brill!….thanks. I’d already clocked that as we can walk there, but to get a recommendation here with a local view seals the deal!
FIFA prices tickets and times the releases with the goal that the last one sold for each game will be virtually at the opening whistle. Any sooner and you lose revenue because you underestimated demand. Any later and you've got unsold tickets which obviously isn't a good thing.
we‘ll see what happens with all those unsold category 1 and 2 tickets for the opening games …. could give us an idea for the rest of the tournament
I assume the prices are in Canadian - so for CAT3 matches in Vancouver that converts to $284 USD/ticket. Not a terrible price for a 200-level seat to see a host country play a top 20 team in the world (Switzerland) in what should be an important match. I imagine similar CAT3 (and CAT2) prices for USA-Australia or USA-Turkey would easily sell out. The Bosnia & CAT1 prices are absurd. Hotel bookings in city centers being below estimates should not be surprising. Most Americans are willing to drive multiple hours after a match to avoid dealing with the hassle of traffic & parking in city center. Many people flying specifically picked matches in cities where they have a relative or friend, as American houses are typically large and equipped to host individuals/groups for a few days without issue. I'm attending ~7 matches and will only be staying 2 nights in hotels. I think the hotel siutation is actually worse than anticipated - I have ~10 hotel nights booked as backup just in case a friend is no longer able to host, as the free cancellation policies are good until only 1-2 days before the stay (not sure if this is uniform for most bookings, or a helpful benefit tied to using a corporate code). For sure there are annoying aspects about this cycle, but I think ticket prices will ultimately settle into a reasonable range if you're patient to wait. It's good that this cycle didn't wastefully build any white elephant stadiums with no use post-WC - hopefully that becomes standard. And I have not heard of significant public funds being corruptly diverted (fingers crossed). And I'm beginning to get excited! Squad releases, then final warm-up matches across many non-host cities, then 3-4 matches/day for 3+ weeks that will undoubtedly feature some surprising results & storylines! The final World Cup cycle for several legendary players. Four countries making their WC debut, and several with deep history / talented players (Scotland, Norway, Austria, Turkey, Czech) making their first apperances in 20+ years.
I wonder how long the two $350 accessible seats that don't really exist for England-Croatia will be listed. Been about a week now.
I do think hotel prices will be come down a lot in the greater KC area, these prices just don't make sense -- although you should factor in the cost of a car rental there like you are doing for the Texas venues. (and btw: Kansas may not be Manhattan, as you say, but there is a Manhattan in Kansas!)
Hello Any issue with having more than 4 tickets for the same game in the same account ? In the past the system allowed me to have 5 tickets in my account (I transfered 1 additional ticket to my account then cancelled it)
Re: CanadaRed 429$ cad for 2 cat 3 tickets to Australia/Turkey, 550$ for 2 cat 3 to Belgium/New Zealand, 704$ for 2 cat 3 to round of 32 (match 85) Do you all think prices will continue to drop for these respective games? With the hastily built Microsoft Forms outline they’ve built this on, further evidence there’s tons of inventory left
