Oh yeah my bad I meant the airlines miles... like United miles. Yeah the Chase stuff is Expedia and not refundable. Have to transfer Chase points if the value works out for you
Kind of strange that they can change your seat after you bought it. Of course, they don’t disclose your seat when you buy it either. I wonder if any other major event works like this?
the cost involved in setting something like this up.. you have no idea. its an option for people who want to secure many tickets at once instead of having to go on fifa resale and paying x3..x4 per ticket than retail. as i said members from here had success last time round
Which match? Were staying in Tequila for 3 nights, then 2 in Guadalajara for M28. Staying at the hotel attached to El Tequileno Distillery. Booked additional tastings at Fortaleza and Cazcanes.
More than 5 million tickets sold out of 6.5 million? Do they count the sponsors tickets in this figure? If not, then sales are very good. I guess most of the remaining tickets are for the less interesting matches, and the top games will probably only have the expensive front seats, etc. I was expecting only around 4 or 4.5 million sold, so 5 million+ is not bad at all.
Scalper bots are buying up almost all tickets recently, so if 5 million tickets have really been sold, or even “allocated”, questions remain as to how many of those tickets are in the hands of people who actually plan to attend the matches.
Some scalpers are being funded by corporations to the tune of millions of dollars (see the Sports Illustrated situation). It would seem that these are the people who're holding most of the sold inventory.
Yes, I agree with you, but FIFA are happy, and they will probably manage to sell the remaining tickets for the big games as expensive front seats without a problem. The remaining 1 million or so tickets will probably be for matches for New Zealand and games like Jordan vs Algeria.. We already know there are 25 000 tickets available for USA vs Paraguay

Do you think ticket prices might drop for matches in Mexico that don't involve the home team? Back in Russia, I saw Mexican fans at almost every match. Even in cities where Mexico wasn't playing, the streets were flooded with green jerseys. I didn’t see that as much in Qatar, but to me, Mexican fans have always been people who just genuinely love football. That’s why I’m so excited to visit Mexico. However, I wonder if they’ll be willing to fill the stadium for matches like Uzbek-Colombia, Tunisia-Japan, or Korea-South Africa (which actually overlaps with a Mexico match). The face value for these games is already so high. I’d love to catch a few extra matches while I'm there, but I'm not sure if the market will allow it. Of course, the real "final boss" problem is that I’m a South Korea fan and I still haven't managed to secure a ticket for M28 (Mexico vs Korea)
I don't know bro, no user has confirmed using your 500 USD service successfully. Not one user has vouched for you. People are helping each other out here so they don't get fleeced. If your method had helped them at all, then one of your clients would have recommended your service to the community. To be polite, your offer to assist with ticket purchases for 500 USD sounds at best, like a scam.
I think there's no way Uzbek-Colombia sells out at current prices, even if Colombians travel in large numbers. I think at the very least, cats 3 and 2 will be expanded for that game. For other games, i think prices/cats will remain about the same. Would love to be mistaken though.
THIS is a man who has the right idea. Less than two months to go and we should be focuning on the xtra-curricular aspects to the places we are visiting. Time watching a ticket portal is time lost. I am going to match 2 so will be all over this. Thanks
Following on from that I remember Spain Holland in 2014 one of the biggest games of the tournement and an all time classic in Salvador and there were empty seats all over the place.
Same happened at Euro 96 in England. Authorities claimed games were sold out but only the games at Wembley looked full. Games elsewhere were played in front of entire blocks of empty seats.
I think that was very different. I don't remember them claiming sell outs across the board and it was easy to get tickets. I got some for Wembley and Villa Park by postal applications.
Totally different times. Definitely not all sold out. Only tickets i had going were Rep of Ireland v England and the final. Loads of issues but easy enough to get tickets in those days. Let's just say it was run out of Sicily.
