That's a great observation... Not sure what that means... Maybe they just haven't delivered any of those tickets so they can't be resold? Or maybe those were never going to be available through normal channels and were all held initially for hospitality and sponsors? But you might be right and even if they were held for hospitality, the ones not sold will likely get released. It'll be extremely scummy and par for the course if they raise the price higher, basically showing nobody ever had a chance to get real Cat1 seats that were a bulk of the map during all the prior sales phases. I smell a class action law suit... Give FIFA a taste of the other side of the American system! Lol

 

By the way, I checked other games, for example M97 and the Final and their pictures are very similar

 

The good games seem to be auction and the other are redeem now. So for the redeem now you have to be very quick. Probably sold instantly. Filter by redeem now to see which ones you can just buy w points right away. The auction games will at least double or triple in price.

 

It is also a KO. The winner of group L v a third placed team. Group L (England/Ghana/Croatia is a difficult one to call and who knows for the third place team.
Not many people will have bought tickets for that with the expectation 'their' team will be in it.
They also have to allocate the TST4s.
So there will be a drop nearer the time as well as the, mentioned elsewhere, sponsor returns and hospitality.

 

When do we expect the ticketing app to be released. If I recall correctly in 2022, it was one month prior to the start of the tournament.

 

Same. I’m expecting it in early May.

 

I had no luck getting any tickets in all the previous phases. I've got a newborn and little money so I have focused my search on Toronto tickets only as I leave nearby in Ottawa. I'm a German immigrant to Canada so naturally I've wanted the Germany and Canada game most. The FCFS phase has finally been generous to me. I got CAT 3 Tickets for:
Senegal vs. Iraq ($190)
Ghana vs. Panama ($275)
Panama vs. Croatia ($350)

Prices are in Canadian. The latter is more expensive because it is in "front row". I grabbed it during today's mini drop. It's all a bit more than I wanted to pay, but I am just so relieved I will be part of the spectacle and catch some games in my country of choice!

Of course, I am still targeting the Canada opener (for the right price) and the Germany match.

I don't care what the prices are. They will be exploitative tho. I have RTTs to USA vs Australia. When they go for sale, they will let me know WHERE my RTT tickets are not. I personally expect all RTTs in the same Cat to be in the same section, so if theres 1 section with no resale tickets for sale... that would be ours. My guess is one of the corners.

 

I see there has been a bit of a drop overnight (in Europe).

Is anyone having an issue with the ticket scanner?
I am just getting the 'scanning' notice not anything else.
It was working fine 24 hours ago.

 

Also - will FIFA be selling printed souvenir tickets after the tournament? I know they did last time but UEFA didn't do so for Euro 2024.

Not sure how they will introduce dynamic prices, though. Maybe sell souvenir tickets to people who didnt attend or buy?

There are multiple extensions now - can’t vouch for the others but this one is pretty good.

 

Do we know if any of those are transferrable already? I know some sponsor ones will be delivered in May and afaik some hospitality aren't even supposed to be transferrable at all

Awesome. I managed to get all 5 games I targeted now. Paid just under double in resale before they closed it o Can -Sui and Van R32 then got FV NZ-Egy, NZ-Bel and Can - BH CAT 3's. All three FV's i managed to get in first 7 rows of the upper bowl on an aisle. My R32 resale pair ended up being piggy back seats not side by side.

Does anyone know if there is a similar ticket scan extension for the LMS portal? Or does the same extension work for both the LMS site and the resale site?
