These "front row" seats are a total scam. I was able to cart some in demand games: -Haiti vs Scotland -$1,250 each -Ivory Coast vs Ecuador - $1,250 each -Norway vs Senegal - $1,550 each -Match 94 - $1,740 each If anyone wants at these prices let me know. Otherwise I will release them. Outrageous prices!!!
I am pretty sure they are selling RESALE tickets since RESALE tickets are on the rise...which would be amusing to say the least
Yes correct, I bought some today and yesterday and both still do not appear under the transferable section unfortunately.
If you're interested in M5 look into FIFA Collect. Prices for this game are reasonable on that platform: https://collect.fifa.com/marketplace/cat1-m5
Same here. It is odd. I got this message both on desktop (chrome, including incognito mode) and mobile, even when trying to access the resale site. But safari on desktop is working normally.
When did anyone think charging $1,550 FV for a group stage game was reasonable? Don't come at me with the supply and demand shtick... I understand that... but this is nuts... fútbol is supposed to be a more accessible sport. I guess that era of fútbol is over... If they had frozen the prices at those they began the LMS at, I think it would have been ok, even though those prices were already very high. But they're finding ways to make this even worse. I wonder whether any player, organization, or otherwise influential entity will speak up about this in a way where it'll make FIFA course correct. Infantino doesn't seem to care about anything or anyone, but maybe if someone important enough speaks up he'll make adjustments. I have all the tickets I need at this point (got really lucky at the beginning of LMS), but I still feel disgusted and discouraged by these shenanigans.
I don't think this is sustainable for FIFA.. They are trying to capitalize on FOMO to squeeze every higher dollar out of ticket prices. But more supply seems to be hitting the secondary market which will start to bring prices down. Sure there will be desperate people who feel the need to buy tickets immediately but there is only so big of a pool of people willing to over $1,500 for a GROUP STAGE game. Once that pool is tapped out they will have no choice but to reduce the price and/or release more CAT 2 and CAT 3 tickets.
They blocked all Chrome users since they couldn't figure out how to stop the scanners and extension. Should work on Firefox / Safari.
Surprinsingly (or perhaps not), the sales in Monterrey appear to be doing not so good. In today's drop for m12 and m36, many lower bowl tickets that were previously cat 1 are now sold as cat 2. With a little bit of luck those upper stands cat 2 tickets may turn into cat 3 in the next drop.
Looking at these resell prices on Fifa's market and they are ridiculously higher than what I'm seeing on StubHub. Debating whether to bite the bullet on M24 only for a ticket that has a row and section specified instead of just a category. Assuming the listings with sec/row means that seller already bought tickets and saw their seat assignment in their account. Of course, a seller can just make that up!
From the view of the ticket sellers though.... $300000 approximate price of a Ferrari $2917 cheapest price on StubHub for a semifinal at&t ticket $300000/$2917= 103 tickets Capacity AT&T stadium 94000 94000 / 103 = 912 Ferraris... This is just good business. I could give all my employees a nice car for all their hard work organizing this event. It's a once in a lifetime event too for the ticket sellers. No price control. This may never happen again.
They are selling third row tickets level with the 6 yard box to the Ivory Coast vs Ecuador game for $1250!!! It's really too bad FIFA will never learn their lesson because they are going to make so much money on this tournament that all decisions will look brilliant
Didn't Infantino a while back say something like every WC match will be like a SuperBowl or similar rubbish...SuperBowl prices sure, but Algeria v Jordan, Cape Verde v Saudi Arabia, Congo v Uzbekistan with respect to these countries ain't no 'SuperBowl'. Can understand charging top dollar for premium match-ups but the above type of games should be 70% cat3, full it to the brim with actual football fans. This ridiculous inventing new, rip off ticket categories as you go along by fifa for minor group matches is next level hustling by fifa. Shameless.
I tried to grab front-row seats in the 300-level near the corner flag for the Round of 32 match in Seattle. I initially thought they were $450, but once I added them to my cart, the price jumped to over $600 per ticket. While that might be considered a "reasonable" price for a knockout stage match, it felt a bit too risky to commit. It's a lot of money to drop when there's still a chance my team might not even make it that far. For some matches, I honestly wonder if there are really that many people willing to pay this kind of money. I know American sports are expensive by nature, but I doubt tens of thousands of people will drop $500 or more just because it's the "World Cup," especially for a matchup between two less popular teams without a single recognizable star player. I have a feeling more tickets will be released as the tournament gets closer.
Yeah I’m also leaning towards the current prices being a house of cards ready to collapse for most (but not all) matches. It costs $1100 for game 7 of the World Series, which is a sport and teams that are widely popular in their cities, and truly a once-in-a-lifetime event that can’t be anticipated or planned for. Yet you expect me to believe people are paying a minimum of $1500 for these random WC knockout matches? You can fly to Spain in 2030, attend four matches in much better seats, and fly home for that amount of money.
It feels like FIFA is testing the waters with these front categories to gage how much will we pay for those midfield seats
If supply keeps increasing and floors dropping I expect FIFA to limit marketplace listings at some point.
So, I'm not saying that is good by any means, but it is cheaper than a lot of seats I've seen in the lower bowl. They were better seats, but UEFA was putting Prime Seats tickets for the R16 at around $500 at the last Euros.
