I see, I'm curious to know what you think wasn't on the level about the draw then? I'm interested in hearing all the theories lol.
How long can a buyer hold the re-sale tickets in the cart ? I thought it reset after a specific amount of time (15 min maybe)
Tons of touts on reddit/discord/whatsapp etc offering boat loads of sponsor tickets for months Took me 30 seconds to find this
Sad. Scalping will always exist and be tolerated to an extent, but this year's World Cup has taken it to a new, extreme level.
Anecdotal but my family's business works with a sponsor of Chivas, last week was Chivas-America, they give us a pair of tickets 99% of the time, for this past chivas - america they said they wouldn't be getting tickets from chivas, but chivas actually gave them tix (which we thankfully received) around 6 hours before kickoff time
So Gametime is legit then? @Kalifornia mentioned that they might not be when I'd posted up the comparison site that had appeared on Reddit. Interesting!
Gametime is a legitimate reseller. In order I'd say I would trust Tickpick, Gametime, Stubhub, Vivid Seats and Seatgeek (which is not to say I would fully trust any of them).
It what sense not trust? And why in that order? I see that thru capital one portal you can buy whats listed on vivid seats.. i guess you get extra protection if u buy thru there
I think Gametime has a different business model where the buyers are buying directly from the Gametime company, which has obtained the tickets through whatever means it has, as opposed to StubHub, which is a middle-man connecting buyers and sellers. So there may be reason for more certainty that there won't be a third-party seller that fails to complete the ticket transfer. I may not have a full understanding of how it works, so research for yourself.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant to say that the website you referred to (seatsearch.co) was not to be trusted because when I checked they were not very honest on pricing of resellers other than GameTime. As to GameTime (and TickPick), I never heard of them before and of course never used them. I'd recommend looking for reviews online.
“Whatever means”. Real easy for FIFA to cancel those tickets. All the tickets are on a traceable blockchain.
when the last minute sales phase happens, how hard do you guys think it will be to pick up a pair of m96 tix before they're all gone? granted that i do everything to join the queue in time/an hour or so before the sale starts
Gamtime is the same as the other 3rd party resellers. Stubhub is the one reseller at most at risk for non delivery. They have been getting a ton of bad press lately. IMO best to worst TickPick>Vivid>SeatGeek>Gametime>Stubhub. Gametime's ranking mostly due to lack of relative inventory
If Gametime has low inventory, why would they have lower prices? It’s counterintuitive! Also the more companies like these there are, the more dilution we get in where to get tickets which is also counterintuitive for a sound business model
Details on the Kansas City Fan Fest. They are fully embracing this event, good to see. https://www.kctv5.com/2026/02/17/fi...-watch-parties-themed-weeks-during-world-cup/
Danny is right on. Here's a few others to add: - Dallas is cosmopolitan, great bars, shopping, restaurants. Uptown is nice, Deep Ellum is party, and gotta plug in Javiers (the best food and a great Dallas scene) in Highland Park area. Super famous tex-mex food great scene. https://javiers.net/ get reservations. - Fan Fest at the State Fair near downtown. Perfect spot for it. - Arlington, and every town in between Dallas and Ft. Worth is all big chain restaurants and suburbs, but them folks like to have fun as well. 100% go to Texas Live area before games, next to stadium. - Ft. Worth, if you want to get your 'real Texan cowboy vibe' then go here. All in the Stockyards/Cowtown area. Joe T Garcia's is a must for tex mex and a great scene. Cash only, no reservations but its famous for a reason. Riskys BBQ and then the world's largest honkytonk at Billy Bobs. Enjoy the trip, ping us if you need more info.
Whole World Cup should be in KC, love how passionate they are, meanwhile other cities cant even get a license for the games at the moment (*cough cough* Boston *cough cough*)
The FCFS round will not just be one dump of tickets on one day, they will be drip fed every day until the tournament so unless you are glued to your device or have Mr. Sleeper's machinery it will be very difficult for the sought after games.
Correct - and lets face it, screen hogging is not good for your mental health. Also have to face it, what IS face value now? The price in the ballot? The price in the presales? At least with the previous FCFS, you wouod hope for something popping up at a price you knew. No idea with this one.
