Does anyone know if there is a link to the credit card attached to one's FIFA ticket account? My card has a new expiry date I would like to update before it causes my heartburn...
Yes. My group was super happy. We got enough tickets to seat us for each of the three games. My only small complaint was that the FA's "are you an Aussie" check was a bit over zealous. My 35 year old son applied. He does not have a big four bank account, and the app wouldn't upload his passport. So, his application was rejected. He sent an email to FA+ to get his $99 back, but received a generic (unhelpful) response. But as you say our FA have done a reasonable job. My son's dad will spot him the $99 given his FA+ success.
There is none. Starting Monday you’ll be able to pay for your allocations using any card. https://access.tickets.fifa.com/pkpcontroller/wp/FWC26SHOP/index_en.html?queue=11-FWC26-Shop
Why are you trying to update the expiry now? You would be able to add a new card during the FCFS phase when purchasing tickets.
If his current card's expiration date is valid, then it should have gone through already by now. Unless like u said, he has it locked and needs to use a different card
Friends, watch yourselves out there. Have you noticed that all the tickets you see for sale on 'social' sites are for the must get to matches? The opener, the final, Brazil/France/Argentina?. Notice how they are rarely for the matches where there are loads of spares. Only deal with people you trust and/or rdcommended by such. This is OUR tournament. Not the scammers.
For matches I am missing, I am going with third party websites. I know this might not be the ideal way, but no matter what, I need some sort of assurance (even if the assurance is cash and not an alternative ticket). Individual buy/sell is very very risky (unless you literally meet that individual in a public place and do the transaction on spot).
I'm a bit of a tech luddite so I can't personally vouch for this, but I've heard there are "trust" apps that facilitate P2P transactions for a small fee and hold money in escrow until it's confirmed that tickets (or whatever item is being sold) went through.
Is it me or for mexico city stadium there is no difference between category 3 and category 4 tickets? I mean looks to me like upper level corner next to Cat 3. I don't see the appeal of Cat 3
It is always like that. Honestly those categories are just BS anyways. Just compare last row cat 2 to first row cat 4, almost same view, huge price differences. Was somehow even worse at the euros where at times you had like max 5 meters between cat1 and Fans First tickets.
are you preferring third party over the fifa marketplace? Just curious, and if that’s the case, if there’s a particular reason for that
Trustapp is the one I have seen referenced quite a bit. Like you guys I've not used but I've seen buyers state that they expect sellers to use it. The other place to buy would be Fifa Collect it seems. Need to have an appreciation for crypto but for matches I've been tracking there is a price differential to be found there.
If you are looking at FIFA Collect for the first time atm it is currently gobbledygook. They must be making changes but haven't taken the site down. A lot of functionality missing.
Any idea how to do all the crypto stuff? I've been tracking FIFA Collect but have never used crypto before.
Is it a complicated process to convert the token to a ticket? i assumed it was just pushing a button.
Obviously FIFA resale is more reliable, but there are some games where the third party price is better than the FIFA resale.
I am waiting for the FIFA Collect site to come back properly. I thought you could pay for tickets by credit cards nowadays. I just want to check... can't check atm.
You have to use a crypto currency called USDC to buy and sell RTTs. USDC is a stable currency pegged to the dollar so nothing like bitcoin. Simplest way is to get a Coinbase account. You transfer money to your Coinbase account (e.g. using a debit card), buy USDC then transfer to your FIFA Collect wallet. You can find your FIFA Collect wallet address under your profile, you have to have opened the membership card pack on new accounts first to see it. Important point - you have to transfer USDC using the Avalanche C chain network, it is one of the options when you select USDC. Always test with a small amount first.
You will likely have to fill in a form that allocates email addresses to your tickets. The tickets will then appear in the FIFA ticket app and can be transferred from the app to guests. If you convert say 4 tickets at the same time, these should be sat together. For CWC, FIFA Collect were given blocks of tickets and did the seat allocation themselves.
Lot of Argentinean people will skip this match for logistics. And will aim to the 2 games in Dallas plus a possible game in Miami, so they will not be paying 1.2k for a cat 3 ticket against Algeria
The two posts ratters made above is a very easy clear simple straightforward way for any new user to buy on the collect platform. I know you bought lots of matches ages ago, but for other people right now. In many countries using coinify is not that easy, so the coinbase method is a much better way to recommend to a new user. Not to mention it's faster.
My Group got 4 matches (aiming for 7) still looking for one Semi in Atlanta. However, one of my group got a game in Mexico City (likely England v Mexico)- I have a ticket same day in NJ and I could rebook my travel and get there for 1 day only (need to be in Dallas day after). However, the NJ tickets are in my name. If I transfer two and the other 2 can I resell those without predjucing the other tickets (as in my name as the primary?). Thanks for thoughts...
