I think I posted up the group to begin with and, to be honest, it's been useful but definitely (surprise, surprise) got its share of scammers. Unfortunately I caught one of the admins scamming. He's quite prolific actually and I happened to recognise his name from Reddit articles on concert tickets of all things! My advice is to drop the other admin - JOAD - a message and tell him what you're looking for. He's been a decent help and seems pretty straight from my dealings with him. I've been looking for Scotland Brazil tickets and he's helped there albeit I've not picked any up yet. End of the day - and it's been said many times - Marketplace for guaranteed success which is where I've gone for most of my tickets.
If there is that much of a disconnect between leadership and the players then it is more likely to be a blowout goleada by Spain than a 0-0 you predict.
The tickets would be transferred through FIFA's free ticket transfer function. StubHub handles the money transaction and gives you instructions on how do do the transfer. The seller won't get the money until the transfer is complete, but the seller is allowed to wait a long time to send the tickets. They could transfer them now, but more likely will wait until close to StubHub's deadline. I'm pretty sure the transfer function will be disabled during the weeks that the FIFA resale platform is down. Didn't know where to put this info cause it could be construed as political (and could be most likely a pipe dream that does not come into fruition) but the Mayor of New York is proposing free city bus rides for the five week period of the tournament.
That’s correct, up to a week later or more sometimes. I had to sell a few for better seats during the euros
How did the Admin scam you? Or try to? Just curious to avoid falling for something similar in this group or elsewhere. And can you say which one (via DM if you prefer)? There seem to be 7 admins right now, so would be good to know who to be careful with.
The guy's name is TJ Peters and we'd started discussing payment for the tickets one on one. As soon as I saw his name I remembered seeing it elsewhere on Reddit where someone had called him out as a scammer. Found actual posts with his picture saying about it being a police case as he'd scammed people for concert tickets. I messaged the other/original admin and let him know. He spoke with the scammer and then banned him. He did sneak back in and I called him out immediately - banned again. The admin I've dealt with (Joad) seems okay but, like any dealings on these platforms, you're taking your chances. He does seem willing to broker the sales. Basically acting as a middle man ensuring that the tickets are real.
Thanks… quick question though… if i sell tickets.. do inhave to wait for recipient to say he got the tickets? Or stub hub will know and release my funds… I have game 99 .. im trying to trade for 71… but looking at options maybe i will have to sell after april so i can afford 71
I don't know exactly how they verify it, but the company is going to want to be certain that the buyer got a valid ticket. And as other posters said, you probably won't be paid until after the game.
Seeing a number of people saying they're having issues over payment of tickets. Also conscious there were people who won more tickets than they expected and can't pay. I didn't get any luck at the last Euros lottery but about a week or so after payments were due I got an email out of the blue asking if I wanted tickets to about 5 different games. Spain Croatia being one of them. Any chance of this happening this time round or we think they'll just go into the Marketplace or FCFS??
Isn’t the person tempted to do this taking a huge risk? First they would have to sell their ticket and take the 15% charge. Then they would have to buy a better ticket, and pay the 15% charge. Presumably the mid price of the better ticket would be higher than the lower ticket. So they would be paying at least 30% more ASSUMING the transactions could be pulled off. FINDING one good transaction (both sides) is hard enough. 2 for the same game you already have tickets for? Really?
I reckon they will just drip them into the resale site. They are incentivised to do so. Also - in that pile of tickets will be people who changed their card to one that wouldn’t work because they got tickets for something they don’t think they can flip.
If I understand it correctly there are basically tickets available for match 65 Saudi Arabia Cap Verde for as cheap as 170$ for cat2 Edit: 200$ for cat1
Hello i have a cat 2 wheelchair ticket for game 85 in vancouver im trying to offload, if anyones interested pls message me, im in toronto area if someone wants to do a cash transfer to avoid fees
At what price do you think the Arg in Kansas match will go down to? Currently cat 3 at $850 in the non-fifa resale market ($1265 in FIFA resale) but hasn't really dropped below 700.(3x face value).
It is the first World Cup match in Kansas City ever. It is the opener for the defending World Cup Champions. Champions that just happen to be one of the most popular teams in America with one of the greatest players of all time playing in his final tournament most likely. Good luck with price drops.
