These are facts. And in the US, it's usually best to wait a day before / the day of when buying tickets for any major sporting event or concert. (Especially in SF bay area in case you are wondering)
For flights, you have a few options: 1) Use miles or points (you can cancel and get a full refund if the flight hasnt departed - most major airlines) 2) Buy a full-fare refundable ticket (self-explanatory) 3) Buy a non-refundable ticket (except basic economy), and you will get a full credit with the ailrine, usually good for a year.
In the first presale, I used different addresses, names, credit cards, and devices for all my entries. Most of them still got filtered out (I checked using the inspect element trick that was discussed in here). So it seems like the fingerprinting and filtering is either more sophisticated than we expected, overzealous, or some combination of the two. I only used my "clean" account after that, but maybe it had already been blacklisted at that point.
Well I guess my plan to go to a Colombia game this WC is not gonna work out. I don't see how I can swing a last minute trip to Mexico or Miami. 2030 I'll probably go all in on Colombia games only, maybe even with a TST/PMA (or whatever they're going to be called) I'm still gonna be in NJ for the duration of the WC (fingers crossed), so I'll be trying to get last minute tickets to game. Norway vs Senegal, my backup game (BUT still a game I was really interested in), is currently one of my best hopes. I feel like Brazil vs Morocco and Germany vs Ecuador are gonna be tough. This also means probably no Boston games for me. If I got France vs Norway I could have made arrangements to drive there and back on the same day (or get a hotel in Connecticut or something) but I'm not sure I wanna deal with the hassle of that at the last minute.
Jeez, I hope you're wrong on that one otherwise I'd be kicking myself. I did get a message later in the day that one of our lot got Scotland Morocco as a partial success so I do know someone IRL who was lucky. Living vicariously off his win!
I was wondering that, whether anyone who applied to 5+ game was successful to, like, just one game. All I've been seeing is people being successful across the board.
I didn't see anything tickets when I looked. I do think they will drop in price at some point. Cat 2 for both. Cat 1 for other more-in-demand games... True. But interest in this cup is quite low in Uruguay Exactly. I never had any trouble getting tickets for any Uruguay game I applied for.
I've entered the denial stage even though my app says unsuccessful on the website. I'm holding on to hope until I get the official e-mail from FIFA.
These Uruguay tickets just landed on FIFA Marketplace and FIFA itself is selling them. They just want extra 30% and to create FOMO, that's the explanation that some people didn't get these easy matches. I saw the screenshot on Reddit of this. And just checked myself. Just cart 4 tickets for M13 - and you'll see the ticket from FIFA itself, without initial resale price mark.
Yeah, I know. But I’m not patient enough to go all the way to the host city and then wait until the very last minute.
Though one does not want to use the resale cat 1 for the SA game is only 450$ a ticket. Would you not buy these?
Any tips for the chase ticket sale on Tuesday? Anyone who was successful with the Wells Fargo one and can share any tips would be greatly appreciated!
I just applied to the Wells Fargo Autograph card so I can have access to the sale too. But I won't get the full card details by Tuesday, so I'm not sure it will work...
If they finish 3rd, they’re most likely to play in Boston actually, and (half as likely) to play in NYNJ, but those are virtually the two only options if that’s helpful. Had posted the below before, but thought I’d post again as it shows which group each team that’s playing a 3rd ranked team is most likely to face. In green I highlighted the options that get you to over 66%. For the 3rd teams in each group the total adds up to only 66% as there’s only a 66% chance they end up in R32.
Don't expect much unfortunately. From what I've been reading it's only like 2500 tickets across all matches. By the time you get past the queue, most of the inventory will be gone.
Im looking at Finalissima in Qatar now i cant lie, so much cheaper and returning to Lusail for Argentina vs Spain could be an awesome experience Thoughts?
Could someone please explain the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing a Right to Ticket on FIFA Collect versus buying tickets through FIFA’s official resale marketplace?
It's too early to give up... in 2006, I won tickets for a single game in the lottery and during the FCFS phase I bought lots of tickets (more 5 games) directly from FIFA. Almost the same in Russia and Brazil ! Of course' with a "little" help from Sleeper (In South Africa was easier ) So there is still hope
