I think the consensus is that the random draw is also complete, and people were able to briefly see what they got, but emails haven't gone out yet.
I know around 10 people here that applied for these federation PMA tickets. They all received something whether a group game(s) or conditional r32, r16 etc tickets. Most had applied for all group games plus the conditional ones. No one amongst the 10 or so got everything they applied for. So overall a decent success rate from this small sample size. I suppose in Australia given our low 'football' population in proportion to the 6-7000 tickets available for each game the chances of getting something was always good. Can only imagine the shit fight getting these PMA tickets if your from Mexico, USA, Argentina etc.
Now that the draw is over I'd drop down to the basic level ($55?). If that. . My gut says there will be 2 events: - roster selection: in NYC in late May. Hearing large public/free event (think Times Square) they may also have a smaller invite only for super top tier.. - night before and gameday: in conjuction with AO there will be a large public free meeting spot. I can also see US Soccer hosting a more invite only private event for top tier. I'll say this. I'm dropping down to the lowest level on my renewal.
So far weve got 2x m59 value 8x r32 South Africa value(hope for 73) 4x m28 standard Still haven't checked with everyone I had apply for me. But lets see what the Random Draw brings.
Spoken with other Scottish mates here in Singapore on whether they got any PMA or regular tickets. Nothing. Same story from their friends and family. Assuming that it's done and dusted then I presume we've got the potential for ticket payment failures (I got some of my Euro tickets via an email from Uefa due to this). Otherwise we're on to the FCFS in early April and we go through this whole rigmarole again.
My group of 16 FA+ members mostly received something. A couple got nothing, but two also got all five matches they applied for. We are just one successful application short of covering all our group needs for the USA v Australia match. There are three still to report in, so we should be fine. We are going to the Canada v Qatar match the day before in Vancouver, so we will cross the border after that match and stay the night in a Bellingham highway motel..My Bellinghamster friends just told me they think that the motel I booked is frequented by ladies of the night. They are going to do a reccie for me. Either way, it may work for the group - LOL.
Working girls at a roadside motel aside... I love that plan of Canada in Vancouver and easy drive to Seattle the next day for US/AUS. Thats a cool trip, kudos to you... and your strange friends. Ha
FIFA is running a pyramid scheme. They're selling high now so they can get a 30% cut as the pyramid collapses. We all agree M4 is the biggest pricing scam? .. but for some reason FIFA decided not to fulfill M4 orders? are they expecting a top act to perform at M4 that will drive prices close to M4? M4 as a soccer match is ridiculously overpriced and any savvy business man would take the money now and shave off 30% on resale.
I've take to ask Google Gemini with precise prompting so we can dream til Monday. G'night As of February 7, 2026, there is still a possibility that your results have not yet been finalized in the system. While many fans used a "hack" (such as checking the source code or a direct "files" link) to see results early, reports indicate that FIFA is still updating account statuses in waves. Key Updates on Ticket Results Staggered Release: Official ballot results began appearing in accounts on February 6 and are expected to continue landing through Monday, February 9, 2026. The "Hack" vs. Official Status: The unofficial methods used by fans earlier this week were often pulling data that was still being processed. Even if you did not see tickets via a hack before it was closed or patched, your application may still be in the "pending" or "processing" stage of the wave. When to Worry: If you do not see a "Successful" or "Partially Successful" status in your FIFA Ticketing Account by the end of the day on February 9, it is likely your application was unsuccessful. Unsuccessful applicants will begin receiving notification emails starting Monday, February 9. Important Next Steps Automatic Charging: For those who are successful, FIFA will begin automatically charging the payment cards on file starting February 9, 2026. Ensure your card has sufficient funds and no "fraud blocks" for international transactions. Check "Purchase History": Do not rely solely on email notifications, which can be delayed. Log in to the official portal and check your "Ticket purchase history" for the most accurate real-time status.
FIFA are incredibly unprofessional in their data security and are putting people through a lot of unnecessary stress.
my feeling is that they hardly allocated any category 3 tickets in random draw, also not too many overall for knockout games which surprises me
I seriously see no conspiracy on this. The con is already in. They used the RTBs and 'presales' to guage supply and demand. They know how much the tickets are worth and will just flog them as soon as possible. They gain interest on the money they charge today - and nothing on a 'possible' sale later. We are all anxious - particularly as there is no evidence the non-PMA tickets have been allocated yet (despite some highly misleading stuff on Reddit and elsewhere). I also think people are misleading themselves thinking there will be a load of tickets left for the FCFS. That will be sponsor returns (that will be cat 1) and the disaggregated holiday packages from the like of Qatar Airways.
The highest possible at the moment is in the early 30s (incl. bonus points). Given that the odd away games are missed due to location and/or lottery luck, the top tier will be in their 20+ points range. Aside from the TSTs, don't they keep aside a few thousand tickets aside for each of the actual teams, that do qualify for those matches? I wonder if that reduces the total availability for knockout tickets at this stage of the ticketing.
Agree. They certainly maxed out the cost of M4 in my opinion. I don't even know anyone who applied for it. Hard to justify those prices, at least for me and a lot of people. Obviously lots of people still willing to pay but I wouldn't be surprised if there were less applications for that game vs the other USA games just as a function of how price impacts demand. If they priced things "right", applications should be the same for every game ... We know that's not true but that's the goal of their pricing strategy
They DO - but they have sold them as conditional tickets. No new tickets will be sold once each KO match is firmed up, they will just know who they have to give refunds to - in AUGUST. The only exception is where the conditional ticket allocations were undersubscribed in THIS window AND a team qualified for a round. That would be team dependent (eg - I would assume not many people have subscribed for conditional R16 and QF Haiti tickets). In that case, those tickets would come onto the market (MAYBE FCFS MAYBE the resale) once that matchup is firmed up.
Yeah - I think some people have convinced themselves that there is no limit to what fans will pay - but there is. (As an example - the England travel club were undersubscribed for some of the KO categories. I know people in that and you usually cant find a ticket for tournament matches.)
An LLM isn't going to "know" anything we don't already know. Some of this is straight up misleading too - there's no indication they're doing the RSD allocations in waves.
Interesting that whilst England PMA was oversubscribed for all games except Semi/Final, Cat 1 was undersubscribed for all matches. These tickets will appear at some point. There will also be PMA tickets with failed payments, England mentioned having a waiting list in their update. Lots of detail here for anyone interested and bored. https://www.englandfootball.com/art...World-Cup-2026-Application-and-Ballot-Results
Could this be why the RSD was done after the PMA draw rather than before? It would have given them time to put any remaining non-conditional PMA tickets back into the RSD pool.
I don’t blame you, and I’d do the same thing. But you may see the bench in the third group game as they’ll probably already have qualified.
So has anyone seen any tickets from the general ballot appear in their accounts today that weren’t already there last night? Or do we think the draw is fully completed now?
I haven't read any anecdotes of that happening. 90% sure the draw is done and those of us who don't have anything in our accounts lost.
