wondering if anyone has any thoughts on PMA codes + email address:

I've got all kinds of sorta-conflicting responses from PMAs

PMA1 (not naming which but you can probably guess):
    - was told to use my old email address on file (I nearly used my new one) even though the code was sent to my "new one". I had changed my email address before the current application period opened in December and have been getting some emails to the old one, some to the new. This PMA is saying to use the email the code was sent/linked to.

    PMA2:
    - I got a response that I can use a different email address than the one the code was sent to / registered.

I'm at a loss from understanding what's going on - I thought FIFA was enforcing the code/email linkage, but this leads me to believe it's up to the PMA?

To that end, I have conflicting info if you can submit two PMAs at the same household or not.

I understand your credit card limit might not be able to handle all Cat 1, but that's your best chance to get any tickets really as Ric_Braz said. If you are just mostly interested in Colombia matches as the ones you HAVE to go to, I would apply for only Cat 1 ones for those. Maybe include the rest as Cat 2 or Cat 3, but you really are going for the most desirable matches on the East Coast that are non-Miami matches. I think your competition is going to be pretty massive if I am honest. Good luck no matter what category you go for!

Thanks!! You think all of these tickets should be re-sellable not too far off from Face Value, on the off chance I get a bunch and I need to offload some? I was worried about Norway vs Senegal, but I guess not as much anymore (Haaland effect, Senegal seen as good). I go back on forth between "I likely will get 1-2 games max" vs "I will get a ton of games and then it'll be a hassle" lol.

I'm doing Cat 1 for all Colombia games. I know the Portugal one is a long shot lol. The Guadalajara game I'm honestly going back and forth on. It's a trek to get there. I do think that's a ticket it should be easy to resell without taking a haircut.

Went for Cat2 and it was definitely more expensive than buying the (non-existent) tickets I was being scammed for

Like a number of other people in the forum I don't like my odds of getting tickets in the lottery despite selecting Cat1 and accepting other categories. I reckon I've got better chances of winning in Vegas during the two weeks I'll be based there!

I hope you get more, but I think you're looking at the "1 or 2 matches max" possibility if I'm honest. I think the 48 team tournament is actually going to push more people to go after the matches you want.

I decided to pass for now and apply for nothing. I can't justify sitting in the upper deck and overpaying for a hotel for what could be a meh matchup. I'm going to wait to see if tickets go down.

I know we have all complained about ticket prices, but where the tickets are located in the stadium is worse to me. If Cat 3 was even near the back of the lower bowl behind the net like the Euros, I definitely apply.

Good luck to everyone who applied in this round!

Same I understand compared to 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022 these prices are very high ... about 7x for some games. I'm simply going to wait until MPS 2030 and Saudi Arabia 2034 where i hope it will be lower prices again. Have fun everyone! See you in 4 years in Madrid.

I hear you, that’s why I can’t convince myself to apply for Cat 1 even for the games I really want to see. I’d be so annoyed if I paid hundreds of dollars for a seat right behind the goal that was a €30 Fans First ticket at the Euros. If I get lucky with Cat 3 (or Cat 2 for one must-see game) great, if not then I’m sure I’ll find some other uses for my money. … Good luck to everyone!

Good luck to everyone in the upcoming lottery! I should be ok for my England PMA tickets and will be using LA as a base, back home for a week then in New York/ New Jersey for the final weekend. I've applied for the usa last group game and both round of 32 games at Sofi, fingers crossed! It should be a great vibe regardless!

Just to clarify. I made an application for 2 x Eng v Croatia. I tried to purchase other games and wasn't able to - no button for it. Are you only allowed one application in total or can you basket more than one game somehow?

You have to delete/cancel the application and then submit a new one.

Thanks. So you can add as many games as you want to the basket??

    It says:
"Canceling your application means that you will not be able to participate in the Random Selection Draw."

They is no facility to edit or amend an application. You first have to cancel the existing application and then start again.

Under half an hour to go. Best of luck to all too. While the odds are so so comically low, it's good to be involved. Especially if they do what they did for 2022 and offer leftovers first as personal offers to those who submitted an application under a certain country.

Agree re: pricing, even the CAT3 tickets feel way too high. High in price and high in the stadium :D

Where did you apply for the Canada $60 seats? That process was done entirely off the FIFA platform.

Yeah, just give me some odds I can get on the second level or the worst of first level seats for a Cat 3 ticket even if the odds are slim. Not going to lie, it does help that I have tickets already to the R16 match in Philly and two GS matches in Atlanta. I got Cat 2 and Cat 3 in Atlanta pre-draw and I didn't get the best matchups, so it's tough to pay over the odds again now for a non-desirable match (at least as of now). I wish you the best of luck, hope you get at least one match!

Well, R16 in Philly happens to be my Cat 2 must-see match! If I get that I’ll see you there. First round on me. :) How’d you secure that one?

That wouldn't be too bad, honestly. I'm kinda fed up with this whole thing, lol. I decided not to go on a couple of trips with friends and family during this first quarter to be able to save money and vacation days for the World Cup, only to now have to face this wall of uncertainty that the application process is. It doesn't help that the FIFA ticket application website SUCKS. I decided to make some updates, and then I wanted to check my credit card, and each time I had to cancel and re-apply, and it some point it locked me out.

Looking back, I realize it would have been better to get tickets during the second VISA phase. I decided to skip it because I wanted to see where teams would land, including Colombia. Well, Colombia ended up in Mexico, which is not great for me haha.

We'll wait and see if worse comes to worst I'll just go to some fan fest, try to secure some last minute tickets, and save money lol. We'll see how Spain/Portugal/Morocco is. If Infantino continues doing his greed fest, and depending on how things go now, maybe I won't be back to a World Cup for a long while.

I was somehow selected for the domestic lottery in the last round and that was a match I wanted as I was trying to stick with basically downtown stadiums (I know Philly isn't actually downtown, but close enough) with easy-ish public transport. Plus, the idea of going to Philly on the 250th Anniversary of the US was too good to pass up.
