Outside of perhaps the Ireland matches if they go through in March I don't see anything going up for awhile. I think Italy is priced in at this point.
I still think the volume is too low to make any final pricing assumptions. It’s too early. But I agree; the Italy games are already priced.
Sorry to hear you took a loss on these games. Makes sense to cancel the trip to the Bay Area, the drive from LA to SFO is long and boring, unless you take Hwy 1 along the coast but that would take you twice the time... plus the stops. Did you offload the tickets on a platform - which one? - or with friends? I'm not sure the inventory will change much for these games, I don't see any touts investing in them in this random phase, even at the new lower $140 Cat 3 price. My son and I might go if we have nothing better to do that day since we're close to the stadium and we can afford to wait until an hour before the game at which point I hope the tickets will be hovering around $50 or less. We'll see...
I remember in June 2016, I couldn't get rid of 3 Uruguay vs Jamaica tickets @ Levi's until I lowered them to all 3 for $100 (33.33/each)(everyone had to work).
I would wait. Just noticed that FIFA increased the per match limit from 4 to 8 on all the matches I checked. Even the semis. Some matches are up to 12 tickets per customer. Not sure what it means exactly; but maybe demand isnt as high as FIFA has been telling us. (what a shocker! lol)
That seems to be true for the marketplace, but not for the regular sales, so not sure what that means in terms of demand.
It sounds like the universe of households requesting tickets is not as big as they expected. Demand isn’t spread across the number of households they expected. So they’re allowing households to add 4 more tickets per match. if you had 4 from a previous sale; you’re allowed to increase to 8.
I think the $140 price is probably OK for the opener (SUI-QAT) and also the PAR-TUR (assuming Turkey wins the UEFA playoffs). The price for PAR-AUS is holding on the sellers' market, but I have my doubts because no US fan will attend that game since the USA is playing at the same time in LA. I don't think Paraguay and Australia fans can fill the stadium so I expect that game to drop in price below cost. It may also still be higher value because it's the last game in SFO so there's still time to "wait and see" for the sellers. The two other games, I am definitely waiting.
But you can’t actually cart more than 4 on the resale website. You get the following message (You are not authorised to purchase more than 4 tickets for performance «Match 71 Saturday, 27 June 2026 - 19:30» of «FIFA World Cup 2026™». The total of your current order and the requested quantity exceeds this limit.)
Probably they are talking about how many tickets of same game u can get into your account. I tried earlier and managed to transfer 5 tickets of the same game to one account
That they have increased the limit for sellers on the RESALE platform means they know there are people who have agglomerated purchases and are facilitating this. Nothing more and nothing less. It costs FIFA nothing to do this.
Specifying my earlier post since obviously nobody knows what’s gonna be possible in the future. What I meant to ask was, for those who already have tickets (since I don’t), is there any function that allows you to request being seated with someone else (and if so, do you provide a ticket number or name or application number)? Or is this only possible during the lottery itself?
Got a pair of m63 (egypt vs iran) cat 3 seats for $575 CAD on resale portal when face value for this phase is $500 CAD. You guys think i made the right call?
This is what I thought before too, but the wording is that it comes out of the supporters Value Tier (very different than CAT3 in many stadiums BTW) "allocation". Without seats assigned yet, that doesn't mean the $60 Entry locations are carved out of the Value seating locations. My good friend is a Voyageurs member and he pointed to me this bit of information from the Voyageurs on the Canada $60 Entry tickets, which are all being distributed thru the Voyageurs much like US tickets are thru AO/Sammers/Barra 76. "Where are the tickets located in the stadiums? Supporter Entry Tier tickets will be Category 4 tickets and further from the pitch than Category 3 tickets. Refer to FIFA’s stadium maps for both Toronto and Vancouver to see where these will be located." here's the link, go to FAQ #4: https://thevoyageurs.com/world-cup-tickets/ I have not seen this info from USSF or either AO or Sammers yet. Or from FIFA. But it makes sense to me. Why put a $60 seat right next to seats they are charging $1120 for in the case of M4 Value seats?
hey @Hamburgler03 great to see you post again and hope we can meet over some beers again this summer! I have similar questions on all of this. I posted above my concern over the $60 Entry tickets based on the Voyageurs info. Have Sammers heard anything like this? It could be someone in Voyageurs just has the wrong info or made an assumption. So assuming Voyageurs are right and the $60 seats are in the back of the CAT4 section, for me as much as I'd love to only spend $60 on my ticket I don't want to sit in the back of those little green sections up in the corners. M4 is maybe different where supporters Value tier is $1120, but for M32 and M59 I'm ok spending higher supporter tier prices to have a good seat. So I'm wondering how do the mechanics of this work? Based on the FIFA seating maps, I applied for Premium for M32 in Seattle and Value for M59 in LA. I don't want to sit in those green CAT4 sections. But if I get the $60 seats can I refuse them and be guaranteed another seat? I suppose better to have a $60 seat in the very top row of a corner of the upper deck than to have no ticket at all.
Thank you Pablo! This was exactly my thinking behind the question I asked a few pages ago. Sure, a $60 ticket for the final is a HUGE bargain. But unlike England, it’s highly unlikely USA reaches that match. So my question about the $60 entry tier seat locations was more targeted to USA group matches 2 & 3, plus conditional R32 & R16. For USA matches I like showing up to the stadium 3 hours early to buy the special match specific merch before it quickly sells out. And then getting to my seat to take in the pregame and talk with the other supporters, volunteers, and media. The wording has been unclear, so if anyone has a Supporter map for LA, Seattle, or SF I’d love to see it. But even the ones for the England stadiums didn’t specifically call out the Entry level since they were created before the announcement of the 4th Entry level. I think some stadium maps only have public CAT 4 on one end of the stadium (i.e. only 2 corners, not all 4 corners). And I doubt (as vibrantcolours mentioned) they’d want the media writing about how the top cappers have literally the worst seats. I just don’t understand why FIFA can’t release a simple map before asking people to pay hundreds/thousands for dollars. Of course in some countries the supporters all cram and overflow into the section behind the goal, because security doesn’t stop them and standing in the aisles or 2-deep in the rows physically enables this. But that’s not a thing in USA. I’ll be fine with any USA ticket I’m able to get directly through FIFA, and I know US Soccer & American Outlaws are doing the best they can!
I would be very, very surprised if the $60 Supporters Entry tickets are not located in the same block as the Supporters Value (such as the higher rows in the same sections). They are, after all, PMA tickets and it would be unusual for the PMA tickets to not all be located together.
