Getting to the stadium will generally be easiest in a taxi/Uber, especially if you’re arriving more than two hours before kickoff. There might be traffic or some road closures, but you can walk the final bit. It’s the getting out after the game that’s a nightmare (you may sense a theme here). Dallas is much easier to exit than Houston but neither are good. So allow time if you book an evening flight. If shuttle bus pickup locations are close to you (downtown or the airport), then those would be a good option as well. Maybe they’ll have a dedicated route to go through traffic or other road closures. But more likely they’ll just make you walk a long distance to the bus drop off points.
You are able to select conditional KO matches. There’s 3 tiers of supporter tickets broken down like a CAT1/2/3, and yes KO matches for conditionals are up from RO32 to the final for Portugal.
I think that is a pretty good list, but I don't know if M15 and M34 will be that easy on this round. If you're a neutral, grabbing the UEFA playoff team matchups might be a nice grab in this round due to the uncertainty.

There is a train, the Amtrak Coast Starlight that runs once a day. If you're in actual San Francisco instead of being near the stadium in Santa Clara/San Jose, you would start with a short bus ride across the bay to Emeryville station. If you're in San Jose, you can embark directly from the station there. It's not a fast option--about 12 hours and delays are very common--so only do this if you are not pressed for time. For bus routes, Greyhound and Flixbus, two lines that are actually the same company, will have multiple daily runs on that route. They are not luxury. Luxury coaches really only exist as private charter services. Going back to Amtrak, if you search for schedule options, there are more choices than just the daily Coast Starlight, because Amtrak also runs "Amtrak Thruway" buses which are a supplement to the rail service. So there are options such as a bus from San Jose to Santa Barbara (a majority of the distance) connecting to a Pacific Surfliner train from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles. If you schedule the connection right, the travel duration is often shorter than Coast Starlight. Amtrak buses have a reputation for being nicer than Greyhound/Flixbus. Generally you are required to book a dual-mode ticket where there is a connection between bus and train in order to ride the Amtrak buses.
I wanted to take a train from Vancouver to Seattle but they only have two a day one at 0745 on the morning and one at 2130 at night. Fking useless schedule. I ended up booking an Amtrak bus. There is no connection to a train required. $55 for a fully refundable ticket.
This is a warning to visitors from abroad who may not be familiar with public transportation in the US... This shows how messed up public transportation is in the US, especially on the West Coast. From San Francisco, you have to go to the East Bay across an expensive toll bridge to catch a train that goes slower than the bus because and maybe you didn't know it, the passenger trains are using the right-of-way of freight trains who have priority. The Coast Starlight train takes 12h 37mn to do the trip. The bus will take 8h 30mn. Driving will take you less than 6 h. Flying will take 1h 30mn but you have to add time to go to the airport and go through TSA, an easy 2h additional. I'd recommend hitching a ride with other fans who have a rental car. Not sure if there's a social media group out there for that, but it may be worth creating it.
Chart showing prices for San Francisco (Santa Clara Levi's stadium) games on FIFA Marketplace resale. They all took a nose dive and this is just the beginning....
Iran in Tehrangeles should easily sellout. Maybe not the same tensions as in Qatar between regime supporters and those living in the west. Atlanta M25 will be in very high demand if Republic of Ireland. Otherwise I'd agree very easy. I'm holding 2 cheap cat 3s for family but will be trying to offload very quickly if the playoffs go wrong.
i''m going to leave the application open. But i got an eye on the resale marketplace, in case something pops up lower priced.
Tix for Panama's 3 games are decent at the moment. But what happened to the cat 4 tickets?? I don't see any Vs Ghana, cat 3 is $140 (Toronto Stadium) Vs Croatia, cat 3 is $180 (Toronto stadium) Vs England, cat 3 is $220 (NY/NJ stadium) I'm being patient, and praying I get picked in the lottery, cause the resale market (even Fifa's resale) is bugging at the moment (cat 3 vs Ghana on FIFA'S marketplace is $1000 each. ticketmaster.com $700+ each) .. madness
No category 4s at all in this round of ticket sales. I don't know if there will be anymore at all (there were so few in the first place).
Same for SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Uber & taxi are great for getting there but almost impossible to get for about 2 hours after the game ends.
This is a tax on people who buy into the hype too much. It is the same with Canada's opener with Italy/Wales. It is like 3-4x more expensive than any other game in Canada, including the round of 32 knockout match that on paper will most likely be between Croatia and Colombia. Moral of the story: openers are overrated, big time.
Yes, unfortunately. During the 1940’s, 1950’s, and 1960’s, there were wonderful luxury streamlined passenger trains on the Southern Pacific Railroad between the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. Overnight on the “Lark” and by day on the “Daylight.” But widespread car and airplane travel killed that off by 1971, and resulted in the Amtrak government takeover of private passenger trains. I can’t wait for the convenient train travel in Spain and Portugal in 2030. And even Morocco has convenient trains between the major cities, especially along the coast.
Resale price went up $600/ticket now. Dynamic pricing kicking in ? Or maybe someone purchased the pair you saw. The price should be set by seller, hopefully FIFA is not pulling a Stubhub on us, they def mess with the pricing
The metro line will be running with plenty of shuttles to and from. Walking to the metro is about 30 minutes. It’s not as bad as it sounds.
The problem with the Toronto opener is that it is the ONLY Canada match to be played in Toronto (M3). The Greater Toronto Area represents 15%+ of the country's population and is the country's economic, financial, and cultural heart. There is no true equivalent in the US. By putting all of Canada's remaining matches in Vancouver (a 5+ hr flight away) except the opener, FIFA has engineered massive demand for M3. If the match is against Italy, it will be pandemonium akin to what we will see for M1 and M4. I don't know how FIFA did it, but I am convinced Canada drawing UEFA Path A was no coincidence. Toronto has one of the largest Italian communities in the world.
Has anyone here deleted and redone a PMA application? Or does anybody know if you’re able to reuse the code if you delete the application to try to do a new one?
