So do we know whether you can join the next phase both applying for fan association tickets but also for neutral tickets? I thought I had read somewhere you can’t do both, but now I’m not seeing that anywhere so assume it’s fine.
As you now know when the matches are that you can buy via a federation I would imagine that neutral tickets that don't clash are fine to buy. I think the rule you talk about was applying for the same game via both channels.
My question is, If I get access code in December from a federation on my mother's name, will I be able to use it on my FIFA account and enter the draw? Federations are working with FIFA for the internal lottery/ballot. So let's say 100 people get access codes but the ballot takes place and only lucky 10 winners get the requested tickets by first week of February. I hope it's a ballot and they don't choose 10 random names out of 100. I'm worried they might cross check the federation's access code name and match it with the FIFA account's holder name. In that case someone like me loses the chance of getting fed tickets and general category tickets. Maybe even gets soft banned or something like that?
The info provided by the German FA say that the email registered with the German FA account MUST match the one used for your FIFA account so that the German FA (not FIFA!) can verify the person applying through FIFA is member of the FA.
Makes sense, but still annoying because I know the matches for group stage but not beyond. Let’s say I want to attend both semi finals, but both could end up featuring my team, so does that mean I can’t select either in the neutral draw? Same would then apply for the final and basically three different R32, R16 and QF games (since I don’t know if my team will finish their group 1st, 2nd or 3rd).
I guess so unfortunately. I don't know if you could buy speculatively and then unload any games that clash.
I don't want to keep going on about this but will clarify that the behaviour referred to should be at European club football in the Champions League, etc. Supporters going to club away matches in Italy, France or Turkey need to be much more cautious than those visiting England. These days the likelihood of being caught in England and the consequences if caught are high. It was prison sentences and then hi definition CCTV that put an end to hooliganism in or near stadiums. If it was to return it would damage the huge tourist income of Premier League clubs, so they would crack down on it hard.
so basically I make a dummy fifa account, with the same email used for the FA account, and I’m good? Physical addresses and actual names on the account can be different? If a miracle happens then I can just transfer tickets from that fifa account to my real one?
I don't disagree with any of that and I'm sorry you had the experience that you did. My previous comments have been more about England's travelling support and the somewhat undeserved reputation they have for violence based on events from quite a time ago. There's no doubt that quite a few England fans drink too much and too quickly and they can be boorish in their behaviour. The home crowd demographic isn't necessarily representative proportionately of those that go away and is likely to include a lot of people attracted by the event rather than regular England fans. That's not to excuse them in any way, people have a right to go to a game and support any team without being abused. The worst experience I had in Germany with opposing fans was the semi-final in Dortmund. Drinking in one of the squares we were outnumbered by Dutch supporters and they were as drunk and abusive as any England fan I've seen. Mention it to anyone else though and you're met with disbelief because a lot of people's opinions are shaped by the happy, dancing orange clad masses you see on social media. Maybe England fans need better PR! Anyway I've waffled on too long on this subject. That's what comes off the federation taking too long to release those all important ticket prices and allocations.
This is all we're getting today I think https://www.englandfootball.com/art...itial-FIFA-World-Cup-2026-Ticket-Registration Ticket Prices, Allocations and Category Splits At present, FIFA are yet to confirm ticket prices or final allocations for each of our matches. We will receive approximately 8% of the saleable capacity for each stadium we play in. We expect to receive tickets in Categories 1 (most expensive), 2 and 3 (least expensive) for each match. We expect confirmation on this before the official registration opens via FIFA’s website. As soon as this is received, we will update all members. We understand that this information will be important to your planning process, and we will continue to seek clarification as soon as possible.
Based on what we've seen so far. why would they treat PMA allocations differently? Only compromise is that they should price knockout games consistently in each round. I don't think even FIFA could sell a conditional knockout ticket with unknown price. For R32/R16 there are Mexico venues so I assume prices will have to be consistent with what has been sold so far which may then have to apply to every conditional ticket. Speculation of course.
They will squeeze every penny they can. At least England are playing in large stadiums. There should be a lot of cat 3 available for the highest 'capped' England members. It will be interesting to see pricing between member associations. Especially for conditional later round tickets. Could they even require an extra fee depending on which position England or any other team achieve in a group? For example England playing a last 16 match in Mexico City against Mexico, if it happens, could be more expensive than playing someone else elsewhere. Other countries could get stuffed if they end up in New York rather than somewhere cheaper. That would be a new low for FIFA but not beyond them.
I don't think they will. However you could make a case that this is the first opportunity we've had to buy tickets to watch whatever country we support through the federation allocation so why punish us for coming late into the process when we had no other option. I don't think that washes with FIFA though.
Will also be interesting to see if all FA tickets will cost the same. There’s clearly less desirable teams where dynamic pricing will mean tickets are cheaper. But does that mean those teams’ FA tickets are also cheaper than eg England FA tickets? Or do they price all FA tickets the same (in which case you’d think England fans should benefit from the lower prices rather than making those more expensive for the less desirable teams…). We shall see…
yepp, prices for supporter tickets will be very interesting all same, different depending on team or different depending on game
At the link below England said they expected to share details on categories and prices today. That could still happen but the fact that they have released another news article asking members to register without releasing prices suggests they don't yet know ticket prices. Not a good sign. https://www.englandfootball.com/articles/2025/Dec/05/england-learn-fifa-world-cup-26-draw-20250512
la parking. Holy cow. Says u have to use same email as.your match purchase so not sure if those waiting on federation tickets can even buy. Wow
That’s expensive but sadly not unreasonable for LA. It was $100 to park at Dodger Stadium during the World Series, which is a stadium where everyone has to drive and park and there’s a huge supply of spots. FIFA will be closing off most of the usual parking areas at SoFi Stadium, so these $300 parking passes are very limited.
Yeah I was expecting 100 dollars for sure. But 300? Yeah they said the walk is 20 minutes so they are for sure closing things down around the stadium
Cat3 final has gone up 50% (from $2700 to $4185). Now parking is $300. Absolutely insane, this World Cup is getting more and more ridiculous.
I don't recall seeing them (but I was just trying to check out as quickly as possible and may have overlooked that option)
