lol Your a sad wee man with a comical view of Scotsmen. Better you keep your stupid opinions to yourself.
Just booked the airbnb for the Toronto games, now waiting on December 11th to get the TST tickets. Metlife is my backyard, so I'll definitely be in the house for the game vs England.
The Umiti header game! I remember not hearing much fan noise. Lots of guys in suits on the second level... dunno if they were French FA or FIFA. Giroud playing cdm lol. I swear Hazard got fouled by Giroud right outside the box and the place went silent, but the ref didn't do s#!+. Was like wow Belgium got screwed. Also Henry was the assistant coach of Martinez which was kinda weird given the matchup. The most noise I heard was the Brazilians doing their chants.
Long Island here. Just catching up here. Haven’t been on thread since Russia 18’ . How are we scoring tickets this go?!! I signed of CC w Visa Draw no luck yet. How are we going to get these tickets ?!!
No. You are repeating media trash. Trust the people who were there. Marseille was a planned and organised attack all over the city by Russian hooligans who travelled for that specific purpose. What do you expect people to do when they're being attacked? Politely decline the attack? The media are full of crap and not a word they say can be trusted!
Just catching up here. On East Coast in NY but have a chance to score tickets for LA USA games. Do you know how the fan fest is set up for LA ? Where the locations are being set up. Thanks pal. Much appreciated
We know it’s a sensitive topic and English fans can be a target (at club and national team levels). But it’s impossible to deny that trouble seems to follow the English fans around Europe and where there’s smoke, there’s fire. When’s the last time there were any major problems with traveling German, French, Dutch supporters? However, this is all irrelevant for this World Cup because the England fans that travel outside Europe to World Cups are a different subset, likely filtered out by expense and time commitment. We saw this in Brazil, Qatar, and even Russia. There will be no problems anywhere in the US next summer.
Hahah. Yay Absolute disaster my pal w us born in Poland had Whole get up Polish Face Paint and Budweiser Heavies in hand was utterly embarrassing.
Now that the match schedule is out and we can see the teams and venues I hope people will realize getting tickets to the vast majority of group stage games should be pretty easy, and prices will go down. Getting tickets to any game involving the three hosts will be difficult, along with: -Brazil v Morocco (NY/NJ) -Cote d’Ivore v Ecuador (Philadelphia) -Saudi Arabi v Uruguay (Miami) -Brazil v Haiti (Philadelphia) -Brazil v Scotland (Miami) -Ecuador v Germany (NY/NJ) -Uruguay v Spain (Guadalajara) -Panama v England (NY/NJ) -Colombia v Portugal (Miami) I think other than these games, getting tickets in the group stage will be no problem.
Please, I have 4 tickets, for M99, July 11th in Miami. Does anyone know what that match could possibly be? The winner of M91 vs. M92?
I note you have not mentioned a single Argentina game? Surely also France v Norway, japan v Netherlands, Scotland v Morocco plus England's other two group games will be far from easy.
This is where Mexico beats Brazil to go to their first semifinal. Others will say England plays Brazil and tries to avenge the Ronaldinho golazo of 02. Nice catch btw
I would agree with this and would even include some others too. I also think that what people are somewhat missing too when saying tickets will be easy for this match is I don't think Cat 3 and 4 matches (and probably Cat 2 too) will be that easy to get in this upcoming lottery for most matches because of the prices. I just don't think you can apply for Cat 3 for NZ-Belgium as an example and think it's a guarantee you'll get them. It's probably a guarantee if you want Cat 1 or Cat 2 for something like Cape Verde-Saudi Arabia though.
I dont think we are saying they are 80s hooligans style, rather that they travel well, and they will definitely be drinking tons of beverages.
When I bought my VSTs for Los Angeles I didn't do a ranking of the teams I'd like to see from top to bottom. If I had I don't know if Iran & New Zealand would've been #47 & #48, but they'd have been pretty close.
You must’ve been in the wrong place in the stadium. We were behind the goal where Umtiti scored, surrounded by French fans. The place was going crazy when Umtiti scored and on that amazing back heel pass by Mbappe that Giroud should’ve scored, also right in front of us. There was banter the whole match with a bunch of Belgium fans right next to the French fans. People seem to have selective memories of these things. That was a great match and stadium experience for us. And overall, a terrific World Cup.
