Like some of the old 'legends' on the stage, I had trouble reading the crappy FIFA graphics today...
Did I see a "00:00" Eastern kick-off for the 6/20 Group F match in Monterrey (TUN v JPN)?? Isn't that 10pm local time? Interesting timing...

Be sure to speak of HEAT, if you go to any Argentine 'parties'...

The temperature doesn't change much on a hot and humid Florida day, but having some shade instead of the overhead midday sun is good for the players. Hope for no big thunderstorms.

I somewhat think (and sorry for my Americans in here), that some "new fans" wont realise the patterns of where teams finish in each group, so we could see knockouts that are somewhat questionable be cheaper than Group Stage Matches

They see Brazil or Argentina and will pay top dollar for them to rest their key players, where a 1C or 1J vs etc will be the same price, if not cheaper in certain categories

I live about two degrees (lat.) north of Miami, and I sometimes wrap up a good June beach day around 8pm ; so get tix on the west side of the stadium, or bring the sunscreen. You'll love Miami. Have a blast, and good luck to your squad!

That is correct. Good time for the Japanese TV audience, 1 pm if my math is accurate.

If everybody has their average June weather, I'm pretty sure Monterrey will have the highest temperatures of all of the outdoor venues, so night games are a good strategy there.

MasterCard aired a beautiful, classy B&W advert just before the MLS Final, today...featured iconic photos of Messi and FANS throughout his career...the only audio is Messi's voice-over (en Espanol, with captions)...entire thing was a tribute to football FANS. Nicely done, MasterCard!

Also, is this match going to be on the 19th of June at 10 pm in Monterrey then? Or will it be on the 20th at 10 pm?

I'm English not Scottish! I have been to Miami and the Everglades many years ago but that was early May. The Scots will enjoy their time there.

...not to mention a couple of 9pm starts (midnight on East Coast)...get the strong morning coffee ready for some fans back home.

Agreed. Not likely to see those kinds of moments again. Quite a different era...

Of the tickets that I got at the last Euros, the match I was least excited about was Portugal-Playoff Winner C (turned out to be Georgia) after the draw. In the end, it was the most memorable match I went to.

I could have gotten Portugal-Colombia this time, but Uzbekistan-DR Congo/Jamaica might be the more fun match really. And, I won't have to nearly sweat to death and/or get poured on in Miami either!

Wearing blinders and ignoring reality is the saddest. After the Cup, burn your shoes and buy new ones for the flight back to the KINGdom...

Coming home is so clichéd now that it can't even be sung ironically.
I'll be very happy if we are!

Yeah, even official media is saying 20th of June 10:00 pm local time, the thing is that the 20th of June 00:00 ET is actually 19th of June 10:00 pm local time, isn't it?

Well, I'd definitely stay up late to watch that match...much more promising than some of those 'marquee' match-ups.
Actually, summer nights in that part of the country can be quite nice...even after the longest day of the year! If that was the committee's thinking, then a tip of the hat to them.

I just park at a light rail station and take light rail in/out and it works great no matter the event. From the Rolling Stones to Brazil v Colombia to 49er games.
