By like a couple thousand seats, I guess? It’s a horrible stadium to be fair, maybe this is Jed York finally getting his comeuppance for botching the planning so badly. Just absolutely brutal for the fans though, and shame on FIFA for pricing these games based on Bay Area income knowing they were gonna throw us garbage. At least they’ll be cheap on resale, but sad that this is the best they’re giving us.
So now we know everything, lets not panic, prices are going to rise, take your time and not have FOMO If you have ticket for a big game, congrats! If you like me and now will start planning, wishing you all good luck! We are all from different parts of the world, however our fear of not getting ticket will be same If we get denied tickets this next phase, don't sweat it, as they all say, We go again
I know a cousin who lives at Philadelphia. I may visit him and go to the stadium to support the Elephanst of Côte d'Ivoire. I'm going to talk to him.
Maybe I am just biased since I'm going there, but they kinda gave the shaft to Atlanta in the group stage. I know they're getting two Spain matches, but they don't appear to be too competitive. Also, starting any match in Miami before dark is just insanely stupid.
Thanks for your condolences. That and $620 will get you a ticket to Switzerland-Qatar lol. Someone from SF must have p*ssed in Gianni's cornflakes, that's all I can figure.
Hey, I am just saying that there's a lot of Homeless people near the airports. If that is ignorant then so be it.
According to FIFA: https://gpcustomersupportfwc2026.ti...es-and-maps-of-the-FIFA-World-Cup-26-stadiums, here are the capacities: Dallas: 70,122 KC: 67,513 SF: 69,391 So not much difference. And SF is bigger than KC
I think Messi going into that group probably made that outcome bad for SF because they could give them easy travel. Maybe if Argentina went elsewhere, they would have gotten a Pot 1 match.
Going to be a lot of pubs in Scotland applying for late licences with their 2am, 11pm and 11pm kick off times.
That's gonna be a party! Beer and BBQ and Big Red. Don't try to start any brawls tho... Our Texas Bros are carrying it won't be a fist fight
We got the Superbowl tho. Maybe they knew all along... At least my prediction for the prices tanking came true
Gonna be a lot of inexpensive tickets for the matches on the west coast.......what's the best of the bunch for neutrals....Belgium-Egypt in Seattle? Seattle/SF/LA really got screwed by the draw.....Belgium as the Pot 1 team in group G, and no big-name Asian or South American countries in Canada or the USA's groups. Switzerland/Iran/Australia as the three pot 2 teams are not great draws when compared to Colombia, Japan, or South Korea.
You can’t say the west coast got screwed when they got all of the US group stage games. I would trade any number of other good games to the west coast for just one US game on the east coast so I could have a chance of going.
Silver lining... All the hosts will go 1st and play a 3rd placed team in the r32. Good ol luck! Remember we are going for the Final! All the good teams need to wilt in the East Coast Humidity! You will get your East Coast Game in the semifinals and hopefully Finals. See you in Dallas/Atlanta/NJ
England fans don't start fights. Everytime there has been trouble, it's been started by locals, the police or opposition fans!
