Going to North America '26: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

I'm happy that you can confirm this as well as I thought it was an anomaly. I got my tickets on October 9th, and it was odd as there were only Cat 2 tickets available for all matches I checked. There was clearly some restocking that took place between rounds of the Visa presale.

 

It will be a much smaller black market. Back to the days when it was dodgy looking blokes walking against the flow of the crowd calling out "tickets". No doubt done on shadier corners of the internet rather than street corners. It won't be people buying tickets as a side hustle as they can't take the risk of arrest. Much, much lower numbers. Selling spares at face value will be legal.

He isn't going to move matches. That is just bluster, obviously so. The New York matches aren't even in New York City under the Mayor's jurisdiction, for example.

 

Disagree, it will be international sellers scooping up the tickets and selling(scamming mostly) on Craigslist, Ebay etc. Cops aren't arresting everyone in a Mumbai boiler room running ticket scams

 

Does anyone know if the resale site will be open all the way thru til the tournament? It would be interesting to see the prices go up and down if it’s open when the draw is on and when the times are confirmed, for example. I’m guessing FIFA will close it while the draws on if I had to guess

 

Only idiots will buy from those sources. Even they will only make the mistake once. If there were still paper tickets and meeting in person more might risk it. Sending money electronically and hoping for a QR code or some other electronic ticket in return? You would have to be mad. That will massively cut down on the size of the market.

 

I'm not sure if anyone here converted their RTBs on Fifa Collect platform to tickets in the last couple of days but if anyone did...

What's the best way to convert from RTBs to RTTs? Burn first before conversion window opens? And was the conversion process smooth?

 

The resale cant have started yet as they havent allocated seat numbers ?

 

Does anyone think they will actually sell VST this sale like they said they would?

Just got selected to buy tickets Thursday November 20th.

Shot in the dark to get an Iran game or pay out for whatever US game is actually on sale.

Probably safer to buy tickets to the games I can drive to and wait for December 5th to see the groups?

 

Got an email for the next window opening on the 20th. Got some tickets in the visa presale but I will be helping friends and family with this one.

There are instructions. You need to Burn first, then select the ones you wish to redeem.

The interesting thing for me was that you can pay with your Amex card (not just VISA).

 

Scotland have done what I though was impossible and qualified so it seems I’ll be looking for Tickets come December

Costa Rica and honduras couldnt score 1 goal to save their lives. pathetic. lol

 

Nigeria (most populous country in Africa) and Honduras (huge population in the US) failing to qualify are going to hurt ticket sales.....Haiti qualifying (huge population in the US) will help them.

 

That game was pure entertainment. Honduras were playing for a draw the entire game in seemed. Acted like that was enough. It was bizarre and hilarious and dumb all at the same time

 

Cannot wait to see Curaçao play. Their tickets will probably be cheap on game day.

 

Eagerly waiting for this draw simulator to be updated with the latest qualifier results and with the rumored UEFA playoff pot path baked in as well.
