I got in pretty fast within like 20 minutes. No VSTs for sale, Same TST inventory as at the end of the visa presale, and slim pickings for the Single match tickets. Games would show availability but it wouldn't let you cart them. Final I only saw CAT3 for like 3800
Got tst3's for Australia and r32 game in NY. Got into portal very quick, around 30 minute wait. No hassles. Had 5 devices set up and an old ipad I hadn't used for a few years did the trick funnily enough. Was the ipad I had a lot of luck with during the Qatar WC. Will wait for the draw and maybe buy a few more games that suit Australia's schedule. A huge shout out to Joeyy on the forum for his assistance. Absolute class. I'm stuffed, it's 5am here and been up since 2am.
I'm surprised they didn't add any new VST stock, they must be selling all of those tickets as singles instead.
I get the capacity limits are low but I'm a bit surprised how quickly Toronto/Vancouver are selling out
No tickets left for Match 32 (the US match in Seattle), but was able to get four Cat 2 tickets for the possible USMNT round of 32 match in San Francisco ($510 each) and round of 16 match in Seattle ($565) each. Now all the USMNT has to do is just win its group!
I assume VSTs will become VERY popular with FIFA post draw. If they have games that suck matched with Argentina. I would imagine FIFA locking Argentina vs Norway behind Tunisia vs Curacao.
Based on how quickly the tickets are getting exhausted seems like it would've been a good idea to have a couple more venues in Canada/Mexico.
Quick, sell the iPad on the FIFA resale site for $1500 - promote it as "Guaranteed to get you face value tickets." Congrats on getting the tix and thanks for the shout out to those who are helping others.
can vouch for @Xavierbananas too, he just got me a bunch of tickets!!! thank you very much for them!!
Love to see this, kudos to @Xavierbananas and congrats to everyone who was able to get tickets in this phase.
Have matches 21, 33, 46 from RTBs. Snagged M90 and M93 this window. Surprisingly my world cup plan is taking shape now. Need M3, M62, M83 and M104 now!
I'm still refreshing in hopes for a cheeky ticket appearing or a payment failure from someone lol, when I got in all mexico games were sold out and there were still Canada and US cat 3 available the demand is unreal
From Europe. Had not received an e-mail with option to buy. But decided to try and log into to the FIFA ticketing portal again today. Then I was set in a queue for an option to buy all of a sudden. Waited for 3 hours in. When the queue time was over, there was no option to buy tickets at all. Was I able to enter the ticket queue, due to a bug at Fifa or something else? This is the image I was presented again after the hours of waiting..
Difficult to make judgements when not privvy to this phase but from what I have seen on here and reddit I feel:- 1.) Surprised how many Canadian tickets were available after them disappearing instantly on the VISA phase and also the size of the Stadia. 2.) There seems to be less interest in the price now and lots of people have been over the moon even having had to pay for cat 1s. 3.) Still a bit surprised that this 'international' round has been totally dominated by host nations residents. Really thought it would be much more of a mixture.
Curious on point 1, seems like Toronto has sold out first for every window with Vancouver close behind. All Canada tix were sold out within four hours of the domestic sale and believe they're all gone now for this phase too. Might just be a lot of people who bought Canada tix are posting online lol
I mean Canada only has 13 games. 3 of which are host games which are always in demand. So 10 games in two major international cities. Also the stadiums are a lot smaller. Sponsors are going to take the same amount of tickets regardless of the size of the stadium. That means they have 20-40k less seats for sale compared to the stadiums in the US
