“The sky is falling! The sky is falling!” — I laid off the news a while ago. I’m much better off. However these tickets are too high in Los Angeles. Unless fifa plans on sending top teams there. Prices have to come down. Specially for the M4 Abomination
Pretty late to the party on this, just wanted to ask realistically what are the chances of still buying finals tickets if I have yet to register for any lotteries? Will there be another opportunity to purchase directly i.e not through resale?
Ah I see, thank you, do you to know roughly based on initial sales phases / previous years, if there is still a chance to purchase tickets to the final or is it a pipe dream at this point?
There’s still a chance. Just stay on top of it. They’ve offered the final in all the phases. But it’s bloody expensive. lol
Thank you, much appreciated, I will try and stay on top of it, I remember the Qatar fcfs / resale portals being pretty brutal so can only imagine this World Cup .
Actually there are two phases left Random Selection Draw: Application for this phase will begin shortly after the Final Draw for the FIFA World Cup 26™. During this phase, fans will be able to submit applications for specific matches once the group-stage matchups have been revealed. Last-Minute Sales Phase: Closer to the tournament, fans will be able to purchase any remaining inventory on a first come, first served basis.
We don't know too much about it at the moment, but it seems like the next phase is an open application in mid-December, with results and payment in late January or in February (date speculated). It seems that supporters allocation applications will follow the same timeline, with applications in December and results in February (according to the French supporters club a few days ago). What has happened in previous tournaments is that after these sorts of ballot applications and results, they then do some sort of First Come First Served sale at the end to sell the leftovers, but this won't be confirmed until later on (again just speculating). Then there will be sales in April for supporters of the teams qualified via March playoffs. Finally the "Last Minute Sales Phase" which typically has been maybe two or three weeks before it begins, but we will find out exactly when closer to the time. In terms of tickets to the final, while the best chances may have been in the Visa Presale, and in the current Early Ticket Draw, there will probably still be more chances just because of how expensive they priced it. In some years it is quite rare to see it for sale on too many occasions, but the high price may help here. Be active in future sales phases, or hope that two less popular teams make the final.
When you buy an accessible seat, there will be an option to buy a companion seat also. Sounds like that’s what your friend should do. Don’t buy two accessible seats if you only need one - buy 1 accessible and 1 companion. https://gpcustomersupportfwc2026.ti...ith-disability-or-limited-mobility-to-a-match
Ill go come back to your original doomsday post in the summer. If you were right ill buy you a round of beers. If you happen to be wrong, Ill just ask for a public apology.
The more I think about it, the less surprising Atlanta doing so well is. It's one of only two US venues that are directly downtown. It has easy non-bus public transport from the airport to downtown. Last I checked, it's the US airport with the most travel. It has a roof to avoid the oppressively hot US summers. For this event in this country, it's basically the perfect venue. Compared to the Miami venue in a similar geographical area, it's miles better.
Next lottery is in December after the group draw https://www.fifa.com/en/tournaments/mens/worldcup/canadamexicousa2026/articles/sales-phases
For the ones who bought in previous sales phases: 1. If you access the link before the sales phase opens, for example, 30 minutes before, maybe 1 or 2 minutes before the opening you need to enter a captcha, correct? 2. The queue position is randomly allocated by each device and browser? 3. You had to log in before joining the queue? Thanks a lot!
1) The Captcha doesn't pop up until about 3 or 4 mins before the window opens. People were saying they were getting a queue screen before that, but that is nothing it seems. 2) Assume it is random, but who knows really? Maybe it is first to the queue gets in first. 3) You log in after the queue ends.
Thanks a lot. So, the best strategy is still to join the queue with as many devices and browsers as possible.
That's what I'm doing, I'm also sharing the url to my friends who will also be in multiple laptops/browsers, whoever gets in first gets in first and logs on to my account and proceeds to buy the tickets
I just clicked the link from the e-mail and it redirected me to the log in page, so it seems you need to log in before joining the queue. I am wondering if there is any restriction by logging in many timed from different devices or browsers
Refreshing to frequently will earn you a temporary time-out, so I'd avoid that. If multiple logins come quickly from the same IP address I imagine this could be treated like refreshing, but I'm not sure that this is a significant concern.
