I figured as much… Cat 2 for that M20 game that may end up being a dud (same for M3) is $465 and for the round of 32 is just $35 more at $500. I still don’t get FIFA pricing…

I was getting fomo on that Wells Fargo presale but looks like I didn't miss out on anything

 

There are some matches sold out, but still a decent amount left. I did a random sample of a few matches that were available and they were almost all Cat 1 and Cat 2 including the earlier knockouts. I would think there is very few Cat 3 left since the minimum price listed is rarely, if ever, there. If you're not too picky and can afford those two categories, there is stuff to be had.

 

I tried to log in again, looked like I was in, then got error screen saying card my card isn't eligible - wtf?

When I entered, all US games were available except the Final. Wanted 49 in Miami and only cat 2 was available. Got 4 for that one. As soon as completed payment it kicked me out and saw the "your card is not eligible" error when trying to enter back.

 

I understand you 100 percent, I broke the bank for this one. Two tickets are mine (with my son) and the other two are for my friend and his son.
I attended 2022 final with this same friend, alone without the kids, and they were very upset.

if i buy tickets thru the FIFA official marketplace for M48 in Guadalajara and add x1 ticket for a game x4 times (four total people going) , will it automatically seat us together ? since it makes me add x1 ticket at a time

im trying to plan logistics and i have yet to secure tickets thru the lottery, so im looking at the alternative options

 

nobody knows. But hopefully they seat them together if all 4 sit in the same account when they assign seats.

 

In the past, the resale portal only opened up later, after seats were assigned (around April). So this is a different timeline, but I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t allow you to link separate resale purchases together prior to seat assignment, just like primary purchases.

 

I found out this morning I won the lottery and bough 4 tickets for 3 different matches. My family is 5 people however so I have to find one extra ticket for each match. How does it work? Does FIFA allow me to buy a 5th ticket through the resale portal? Will I be able to request that the 5th ticket is seated together with the other 4?

Edit: It won't let me purchase a 5th ticket through the resale marketplace. How can I get around this? I have a family of 5. It's so ridiculous that I'm allowed to buy up to 40 tickets total but only 4 for a single match.

 

We were able to get Cat 2 for 4 Seattle games, Cat 1 for USA game, and one game in Santa Clara. Finals were "unavailable" This was after 2.5 hours of waiting, so pleasantly surprised actually. REALLY breaking the bank, but...

 

Good to see some regulars on here pick up tickets they were after. It definitely is hard and frustrating work but well worth it in the end. Was with some friends the other day who mentioned they're going to the WC. Asked them if they're doing all this fifa lottery stuff, looking on resale platform etc and they said they didn't know about it and would get tickets 'later on'. Told them good luck with that, it's not that easy nowdays. Hoping for some good news in a few days.

 

The only way I'm aware is create a new account for the 5th person and then link the tickets to the original purchase.

 

Yes, pretty strict rules. I wish they’d change this in the future to limit to 30 tickets (instead of 40) and up to 6 tickets per household. Pretty common to have 5 people in a household so that 4 tickets limit is kind of dumb and, come on, allowing people to attend 10+ games is pretty dumb too and severely limits who has access to games.

 

If I do that I have to use a different address, right? Can I pay with a credit card that has the same address?

 

Those are probably the people who will end up sitting next to you who paid 50% of what you did.
