Not as far as we know from what was shared here. I think one member was able to use the general sales platform link to access something that looked like the ticketing site. This was during the very first phase of Visa pre-sale, but they could not actually make any purchases.
It looks like someone already answered this, but just to confirm you are sent back to the queue to wait again before re-entering the portal. This is why it is helpful to have other devices logged into the queue, as they will be closer to gaining access than the one with which you just completed a purchase.
Some dreary news from my supporters group. They have an informal process in place for people to help other members gain access to Canada matches, and over 500 people expressed willingness to support this process by purchasing additional tickets during Visa pre-sale if they were able to. Results are in, and they only had 1 member who was willing/able to transfer 2 additional tickets for one of the matches. I'm not sure if this is a reflection on the difficulty in accessing tickets at all, the desire to re-sell for profit rather than at face value, or some combination of both.
Yikes, from my friend group and people I know of who has submitted entries to the lotteries and gotten lucky I'm willing to say that it's maybe 1/100 entries getting selected here in Mexico
I wonder if another option could be that people were able to log in, saw the prices, and then their ideas changed. My plan going into it was for my girlfriend and I to go to at least two different matches. After I saw the prices and the availability of the matches/venue that I wanted to go, I booked only one match for myself and she fully understood. I have entry for the next window and I am trying to decide if I want to go with the original plan or figure something else out based on what I see.
You're quite right, there are other possibilities like being turned off of the whole process, as well as getting cold feet about transferring tickets with strangers and not wanting to be left hanging with a bigger credit card bill.
I don't see my application status anymore when I use the inspect trick. What does that mean for me?? Did my application get rejected??
I think that’s more likely. It’s one thing to send a $50 ticket to a stranger. Quite another to do it with a $500 one. I would also think a lot of people are holding onto tickets for friends and family who are still considering going but haven’t finalized plans. The time for sending extra tickets to random strangers (even within your own supporters group) is more like May/June.
It's pretty early in the process. Honestly I was surprised anyone had any spares at all at this point. I was very lucky to get into the Visa sale and I grabbed 4 Canada TSTs and I didn't really have a plan for the other three tickets, but the first three people I asked all very enthusiastically said yes. I am sure I know dozens of people who would have taken them off my hands. I signed up for Vs4Vs, but I didn't expect to get to the point where there wasn't someone I didn't know personally who wouldn't want a face value ticket. But once the CSA allocation is done, we'll see how things shake down. I am in favour of anything that gets more Canadian supporters into the ground who will add to the atmosphere. I smiled at the idea that Toronto was large and the World Cup might get lost. Toronto is (was?) one of the great World Cup cities. 200,000 people took to the streets to celebrate Italy's win in 1982 and I think if they get the right team drawn there (and sadly I don't mean Canada, though I am hopeful the excitement before the opener will be tremendous), it could be an unforgettable atmosphere around the city.
On the fifa resale portal now it says ‘special offer’ and when you select a match is says ‘resale advantage’. Anyone know what this means?
I think it’s a combination of both plus those who got tickets want to use them. $1,385 CAD for category 3 of what is a largely inconsequential game in BMO Stadium is not attractive, even for the most diehard fans. FIFA has really screwed everyone over.
As a very long time V's member, I'm not surprised at all. I have enough of an informal network of people I'd be offering extras to instead of putting them into a random draw.
Makes sense. Anyone in the supporters group, or anyone connected to the soccer community in any way, likely would have no issues finding a home for tickets without needing to transfer them to strangers. I agree with you, I hope that many of these tickets can find their way to true fans at as low a markup as possible.
When you look at the FIFA resale and especially the site 'SeatPick' it is difficult to believe that any individual fan actually has managed to buy any tickets at all. The latter site, if true, is quite ridiculous..
Every match has "special offer". An engineer is probably just messing with us. There's nothing special.
at least they managed not to show available tickets without price any more, now you always see the price. next step is to allow you to cart two tickets at once until next june resale shop might even become servicable
Can anyone confirm if this process is functional today? Hearing mixed feedback saying that this only works if you do it during checkout. https://gpcustomersupportfwc2026.ti...urchased-FIFA-World-Cup-26-tickets-separately
I do not see that option when I look at my order history (I did have the option when I checked out but did not enter).
CWC SuperPack update ---- FIFA offered Cat3 for the FINAL! it was preloaded on my account. Just needed to pay for the tickets. $3450 each. for the other CWC Pack tickets. pricing was inline with the leaked prices.
Can folks post whatever prices they can for matchs on sale today? thanks Looking for prices on (call cats): M57 M65 M74 M76 M86 M88
