It means Phase 1 is officially finished. For the next phase, they said the successful emails will be sent by mid-November, right? Is it mentioned anywhere when the first day to purchase tickets will be? Maybe Monday, November 17? Or will they wait until the next qualification games are played in November first?
You’re going to have to apply first again in late October. ‘Early Ticket Draw: The second phase of ticket sales is the Early Ticket Draw, with the entry period scheduled from 27 to 31 October 2025. Like the first phase, this will involve an application process followed by a randomized selection. Successful applicants will receive a designated time slot to purchase tickets, subject to availability and the applicable terms and conditions.”
Yes i am aware it starts in Oct but i am trying to guess the start of the FCFS. In the previous phase they said from the beginning that it will be on 1st Oct. But for this phase we don't know yet
Yep as other have said. 3rd party (even coordinating here or offline) is a great loophole to avoid the 15/15% fifa fees. The transfer feature is free. The issue just comes with trust of the other person. Do they actually have the ticket to immediately transfer? If so then it's a perfect loophole. If not then you are fairly blinded to the other side and no way to communicate with the person. With stubhub you can at least get a refund I guess.
Also we need the transfer feature to reliably work. I'll wait until we know that before trying any of that.
I am wondering the same. I have a few gmail+ accounts, but the only thing I ever received were marketing emails. Which is strange as well, because only 2 accounts are getting the MKT material (probabaly the only valid ones after the "cleaning"). Let's wait and see.
I got the email now for my main account, but it only arrived immediately after I signed into the FIFA ticketing portal, oddly enough.
So what are our lessons learned from the visa presale? Is there any guideline we can use to avoid our apps getting cleansed out next time?
Are people really that confused with this? You dont have to purchase one at a time. The system just makes you add the tickets to cart one at a time. So you can add 4 tickets(one at a time) and purchase 4 in 1 transaction. Lol Oh and I think people are putting those weird prices like 348.64 so you know what tickets are listed together? I guess they are assuming only those will be seated next to each other. Even though it clearly states "seats will be assigned at a later date".
I can't recall for sure but I believe it might be 8% for each country per game. The host nations also get extra. I don't knoiw this figure. So i suspect the figure will be higher than 5K per game. However 1K for friends, family, sponsors in a country like the United States seems very low to me. I've obviously no idea of the figures my guess is demand will be massive from clubs, leagues , referees, all sorts of people involved in the game. How the allocation is distributed is up to the Football Federation. Some have fanclubs and track home and away attendance. Some give to travel agents. Some may end up in the wrong hands. Some even return tickets. The demands on a host nation federation for tickets are normally huge.
Canada allocation is 8% of "sellable" tickets per game. Up for debate of how many tickets will not be sellable but would certainly line up with the 6-7% total noted above.
I have seen people do this sort of thing as well (which is nice). I've also seen sellers do this as a way to communicate who they are to other people on the platform. Some people do it for personal (or juvenile) reasons. My guess, though, is that the amount is a round number in the seller's home currency, but when expressed in dollars, it is not.
Yep hard to tell though, alot of tickets sold in the Visa presale. Alot of people reselling actual tix and most people, I assume, dont have a fifa acct and dont know about the resale platform. Would think posting an existing ticket on stubhub/TM would be a easy way to try to sell. But of course that speculative listing is a well known technique. Actually I'll post my existing US ticket on there and see how it works.
Looks like the resale site is up and working. I have a Cat 3 ticket in my cart for the U.S. opener in LA. I think I am getting screwed by dynamic pricing plus the 15% resale fee... Face value is $1,120 and this one is $1,650. That's $530 for what exactly? Think I'll take my chances at snagging something in the later draws.
It's not dynamic pricing, it's the price chosen by the seller. If the seller paid $1120 and posted it at $1435, FIFA will take a 15% cut and the seller will get $1219.75, a $99.75 profit. Then FIFA add a 15% surcharge to the buyer which gets you up to $1650.
Ah yes, thanks. This resale platform is something else. I put that ticket back and just for fun tried to get another Cat 3 ticket. Now a different one is in my cart for $1,550. $100 cheaper.
