Maybe thats why i didnt see any tickets.. everythings said sold out, final was there for almost a million miles… i used my points like a month ago for a trip, before i lnew about this
I actually think they're doing it on purpose so they are not accused of incentivizing (if that's a word) the touts or being seen as scamming the buyer. You know, in the sense of them saying "we only sold tickets from genuine buyers who needed to get rid of a single ticket in their party". Also, what's the deal with tickets priced at $388.24 or $1420.69? Is that code for something like at Walmart or Target...?
You should buy wherever you can. The number of tickets available in the USSF lottery will be tiny compared to what FIFA is selling
It’s quite possible, and they may want to push people toward primary sales or hospitality for the time being. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this “glitch” fixed as soon as the majority of primary ticket sales are complete…
Before the first Visa pre-sale there was a brief period when people could use developer tools inside their application to see a lottery number related to their place in the pre-sale. Some applications did not have a number and showed “cleansed out,” suggesting they may have been removed through a filtering process.
A waste of time, no way to talk to a human on the ticketing contact numbers despite the robot saying that option exists! So transfer remains in limbo for now.
And when they say it's 85K points that's for one ticket or for two? And if it's just for one can you still buy more than one ticket?
Stubhub question. Since you can now transfer your tickets to another person via fifa ticket exchange, stubhub sellers should also be able to do it. Anyone on here purchased from Stubhub and got those tickets via fifa ticket transfer platform from that seller? Sometimes I see prices on stubhub better than on resale platform so it's tempting.
It depends what you mean by matters? I would be more than happy to see Cape Verde because I doubt anything ever has mattered more to them. The same can be said for a number of countries now that FIFA keeps opening the door wider and wider. I have seen plenty of crap games involving England, Germany and a number of other countries that presumably fall into the matters category to some people. Still trying to see where the insult was.
You are totally changing the point of what I said or meant. Or perhaps I didn't explain it fully. Yes some games will be great to see I've no doubt about that. My point is and was, if you support one of the many 'major' sides in the competition rather than waste your holiday (most don't get a full moth or can't afford a full month) coming to watch what in the main will be meaningless games, you are better off coming for the last 32 onwards. Sure if you stay in the host countries you have the luxury of attending any match you choose but for the rest of the world that luxury isn't there. For the major nations the competition will not really start until the last 32 or even the last 16. The insult was you assuming I was embarrassing myself by stating a fact. I quite understand your position, you may have tickets to sell and don't want the games to be thought of as meaningless. Or maybe you've bought a lot and don't like to be given this opinion. It is my opinion and in my view a perfectly valid one. Time will tell. Good luck to you.
Well I support a major side and currently my plan is just to see the three meaningless group games. Originally the idea was to get a conditional semi-final and final ticket as well but I'm not going to give FIFA, potentially, nearly £3k to bank for 6 months. I say potentially as my ticket will come form the FA allocation and pricing there isn't known at present. The group games may not be the most competitive but I'll get the World Cup experience for two weeks. I did the same in Qatar, which was my first World Cup. Most of my enjoyment following England is doing away non-tournament games anyway.
Got good confirmation that each Fed will get their typical 6-7% ish of capacity. While not a huge amount its still 5,000 ish tickets to dole out however they want. Trying to work backwards is tough as we dont know how many people are in each of the Insider tiers. My guess is they'll give friends/family/sponsors 1,000 ish, if that, which leaves about 4,000 to top tier Insider at 2-4 tix per person. Not too crazy....
Is the FiFA resale platform going to remain as is, seems you can only purchase 1 ticket at a time for any particular match in the same category? It seems like even if the prices were reasonable this is basically unusable. Like if I want to take my family of 4 or 5 people how can I even know how many tickets available, what their cost is, and whether they are together?
‘The insult was you assuming I was embarrassing myself by stating a fact.’ Actually that wasn’t Ric_Braz, that was another poster.#4502
If FIFA's resale platform continues to allow the selection of only 1 ticket at a time, I suspect many resellers and purchasers will turn to platforms like stubhub. The transfer ticket function won't work for most tickets until after the draw in December as FIFA has placed a limit on this. As far as I know, it currently only works for Team Specific Tickets, and only for the 3 hosts.
The price is definitely for a pair of tickets (I have confirmations) You are allowed to buy up to 2 packages (4 tickets) per match
I wouldn't expect to receive a transfer from a Stubhub purchase until the week of the match. Many of the SH listings are touts shorting the event. They'll procure them later for a (presumably) cheaper price and then transfer them to you when its profitable for them
Are your single matches part of a TST for Canada, US or Mexico? I'm curious if the functionality is just broken across the board...
