So all the single tickets from the Pre sale stage have now all been sold. Hideously expensive, no one knows who is playing but nevertheless they are went.
I got a timeslot starting today, I got the email Friday night. Figured I wasn't selected in the Visa draw, but was. Though I got in and nothing I want is available. Italy is available for TST, was thinking of getting those. However I can't see what happens if they dont' qualify, is it refunded or they put another team in it's place from Europe?
You get refunded but in the past this has taken an age and even seen a number of examples where people are still trying to get their refunds way after the tournament has finished. FIFA are like that. For the good of the game and the Fans. As there is every possibility Italy could well be in the play offs in March it might be better to choose another country.
Totally agree. Was in the stands for ARGvKSA and JAPvGER in Qatar. Furthest things from 'glorified friendlies' (as an earlier poster characterized group stage matches) that you could imagine. Cracking games, supporter sections were intense.
Yeah, sorry, it was my attempt at sarcasm. That is where we've gotten under Infantino and FIFA's greed, the possibility of paying thousands of dollars for a ticket to see a team of part-time players.
So I made a table, based on the recent stadium capacities listed in this FAQ: https://gpcustomersupportfwc2026.ti...es-and-maps-of-the-FIFA-World-Cup-26-stadiums Based on the FAQ, there will be over 6.6 million seats available. Of course, that includes FIFA internal use, corporate sponsors, hospitality, etc. How many typical fans will have access to is unknown.
I dunno about you but I actually would be kind of excited to watch Spain go like 15-0 and break multiple records at a World Cup on New Caledonia. But if you hold the ticket to a game like Honduras-New Caledonia, RIP your ticket value.
Man they need to give those that didn’t get selected a chance in phase two lol. Some people really bought 40 tickets in phase one. Wondering if they’re require a credit card for second phase.
Looks like they even downsized some stadiums lol, KC holds 80k for NFL games and I'm pretty sure Houston and Atlanta hold >70k as well
Lol Im a Scotsman trust me Denmark are winning that group no way are we beating them a Greece in our last 2 games. Hopefully we get an easy playoff, we’ll need it ;-)
Ok you want people to believe the games matter. That’s your prerogative BUT point out now or after the group phase even one of the teams I mention that do not get thru. I’m happy to stand by my “Glorified Friendlies” statement. Of course for some teams their final is the group games I know this but they will not be the well supported teams who can fill stadiums. And stop embarrassing yourself by tryi g to win a discussion with an insult. It lowers your position.
I entered exactly at 8am PT and everything was available. Also was able to add them to my cart: for opening (only Mexico was available, I think cat 2), group stage (tried M44 cat2) and final (only cat 1 was available). I only had enough point for M44 but decided not to purchase it for 85K points. Too expensive.
Quite the opposite. I woudl far rather see two similar quality teams than that. Funnily enough I woudl be rather keen to see Cape Verde and maybe Curacao will get there as well. Definitely will support any team that play Qatar. Can't stand them. So Spain winning 15-0 then would be an exception!
Without wanting to steal from Reddit I was surprised to see someone say....'I contacted FIFA on this and they said they cannot and will not guarantee seats together when purchasing a pair or more of tickets on the "resale" site..... they were very clear on that' Do you think this is the case and would people know. Surely if the prices being offered are the same then the tickets would be together. You woudl think that as FIFA are getting 30% they might be more proactive in that department.
FIFA's ineptitude regarding the resale platform is baffling. Given that they are attempting to control the secondary ticket market, one would have thought that they could have come up with a simple process to facilitate multi-ticket purchases. The fact that you have to select individual tickets is archaic and I imagine has cost them a lot of secondary sales. The platform should display tickets in groups of 1-4 just as they were purchased.
This is what you are going to see and you can click on "click here to buy more miles but not sure if the ticket is going to stay in your card (and for how long). If you have enough point, you see something like this and there is a form that you need to complete (name, etc)
